무용 지도자의 윤리의식이 학생에게 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 무용 지도자의 윤리의식이 학생에게 미치는 영향은 무엇이며 윤리의식에 영향을 주는 요인들을 찾아 무용 지도자들의 윤리의식을 향상 시킬 수 있는 개선 방안을 파악 및 분석하여 올바른 윤리의식의 확립과 이에 따른 해결 방안을 기초 자료로 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 무용전공자 중 현재 발레지도를 하고 있는 20대 여자 5명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구 방법은 질적 연구 방법으로 일대일 심층 면담을 진행하였으며, 연구의 신뢰성을 위하여 내용의 타탕성을 검증하였다. 이에 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용 지도자의 윤리의식이 학생들에게 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 올바른 윤리의식이 확립되지 않은 지도자들로 인해 금품수수, 입시비리, 부정 청탁 등의 부정행위가 발생하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 부정행위는 학생들에게 심각한 영향을 미쳐, 학생들은 자신의 시간과 노력을 잃어버리게 되고, 이로 인해 무용을 그만두거나 자신감을 잃는 경우도 발생하고 있다. 둘째, 지도자의 권력이라는 명목하에 폭력(언어, 신체, 성)이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 이로 인해 학생들은 자신의 권리를 보호하고 지도자와의 관계를 유지하는 데에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 일부 학생들은 피해를 입을까봐 두려워 함구하거나, 지도를 받아야 하니 어쩔 수 없다고 생각하고 이러한 상황을 받아들이고 있다. 셋째, 무용 지도자의 윤리의식에 영향을 주는 요인은 금품수수, 부정 청탁, 입시비리, 폭행, 비윤리적인 행위로 구분할 수 있다. 이러한 요인들은 무용 지도자의 윤리적 판단력을 약화시키며, 학생들에게 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 무용 지도자의 윤리의식을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안으로는 다음과 같은 방법들이 있다. 먼저, 금품수수 및 부정청탁을 예방하기 위해서는 이러한 행위를 목격할 시 증거를 수집하여 신고하고, 관련자에게 적절한 처벌을 가해야 한다. 또한, 승부조작 및 부정청탁을 방지하기 위해 지도자는 올바른 가치관을 확립하고 공정한 심판을 위해 블라인드 심사를 시행해야 하며, 심사 기준 및 결과를 투명하게 공개할 필요가 있다. 폭력을 예방하기 위한 방법으로는 지도자가 올바른 지도를 할 수 있도록 폭력과 성교육 예방 프로그램을 필수적으로 수강해야 하며, 윤리교육 이수 자격증 및 프로그램을 반드시 이수해야만 지도 자격을 부여해야 한다고 생각한다. 이를 위해 스포츠윤리센터처럼 무용계에서도 윤리 관련 센터나 협회가 설립되어야 하며, 이 기관들이 지도자와 학생이 안전한 환경에서 무용을 지속할 수 있도록 지원해야 한다고 주장하였다. 비윤리적인 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 지도자와 학생 간의 상호 관계를 유지하고, 무용 지도자들의 윤리적 판단력을 향상 시키며, 안전하고 윤리적인 환경을 조성하여 더 나은 결과를 기대할 수 있다. 따라서 선행연구들을 토대로 무용지도자와 학생의 관계가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하는 것에 의의가 있다. 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 추후 연구에서는 다양한 각도에서 무용 지도자의 윤리의식 또는 무용을 전공하는 학생들에 대한 연구가 다방면으로 이루어져야 한다고 생각된다. 이는 무용 전공자들이 지도자가 되었을 때 같은 문제가 반복되지 않도록 하기 위해서다. 무용 지도자는 자질과 윤리의식을 갖추어야 하며, 이 연구가 무용 지도자의 윤리의식을 갖추는 데 도움이 되었으면 하는 바람이다.|The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the impact of dance leader‘s ethical consciousness on students and improvement measures to improve dance leader’s ethical consciousness by finding factors that affect them, and to provide basic data on the establishment of correct ethical consciousness and solutions accordingly. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, five women in their 20’s who are currently teaching ballet were selected as participants. As for the research method, one-on-one in-depth interviews were conducted as a qualitative research method, and the tangibility of the content was verified for the reliability of the study. Therefore, the results of this study are as follows. First, as a result of examining the influence of the ethical consciousness of dance leaders on students, it was found that cheating such as receiving money, corruption of entrance exams, and illegal solicitations were occurring due to leaders who did not have a correct ethical consciousness. These cheating has a serious impact on students, causing them to lose their time and effort, which leads to them quitting dance or losing confidence. Second, it was found that violence (language, body, and sex) occurs in the name of the leader's power. As a result, students have difficulty protecting their rights and maintaining relationships with leaders. Some students are accepting this situation because they are afraid of being damaged or because they have to be guided. Third, the factors that influence the ethical consciousness of dance leaders can be classified into receiving money, illegal solicitations, college entrance examination corruption, assault, and unethical behavior. These factors were found to weaken the ethical judgment of dance leaders and negatively affect students. Fourth, there are the following ways to improve the ethical consciousness of dance leaders. First, in order to prevent receipt of money and valuables and illegal solicitations, evidence must be collected and reported when witnessing such an act, and appropriate punishment must be imposed on those involved. In addition, in order to prevent match manipulation and fraudulent solicitation, leaders must establish correct values and conduct blind screening for fair judgment, and transparently disclose examination criteria and results. As a way to prevent violence, I think it is essential to take a violence and sex education prevention program so that the leader can provide correct guidance, and I think that the guidance qualification should be granted only after completing the ethics education certificate and program. To protect this, they argued that ethics-related centers or associations should be established in the dance academia, like the Sports Ethics Center, and that these institutions should support leaders and students to continue dancing in a safe environment. To solve unethical problems, better results can be expected by maintaining mutual relationships between leaders and students, improving the ethical judgment of dance leaders, and creating a safe and ethical environment. Therefore, it is meaningful to investigate how the relationship between dance leaders and students affects based on previous studies. Based on the results of this study, future studies should be conducted on the ethical consciousness of dance leaders or students majoring in dance from various area. This is to prevent the same problem from being repeated when dance majors become leaders. Dance leaders must have qualities and ethical consciousness, and I hope that this study will help them establish an ethical consciousness of dance leaders.
