학교수학에서의 수학사 및 예화자료 지도방안 연구

Abstract

이 논문에서는 수학에 대한 학생들의 흥미를 유발하고 관심을 이끌 수 있는 수학학습 지도 방안 중 하나인 수학사의 도입에 관하여 논한다.

연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 수학사를 통한 교수-학습 방법에 대한 문헌 연구를 통하여 수학사적 배경과 역사 속에서의 수학 문제 등을 연구, 발췌하고, 수학사를 실제 학교 수학 수업에서 다양하게 활용할 수 있도록 학습 지도안을 제시한다.

학교 수학학습 지도에 수학사를 도입함으로써 학생들의 자발적인 수학적 활동을 이끌어 내어 수학의 실용성과 가치를 깨닫게 할 수 있을 것이다.

또한 학생들이 수학에 대해 좀 더 흥미를 가지고, 친숙하게 다가갈 수 있게 될 것을 기대해 본다.| The main purpose of this study was to discuss an introduction of mathematics history, which could be considered as one of methodological ways of teaching to give rise to students' interest in mathematics.

Through literature review related to an insight into teaching and studying methods using an introduction of mathematics history, mathematical issues were intensively studied and selectively extracted based upon setting against mathematics history and its own history. Guidelines for teaching were also provided that uses the history to be variously applicable to practical academic classes.

As a result, this introduction of the history to teaching guidelines for mathematics might lead students to voluntarily involve in mathematical activity, and subsequently expect to understand practical use of and value about mathematics.

Likewise, students might be anticipated to be further interested in and more acquainted with mathematics.
