프로코피에프 피아노 소나타 No.1 Op.1에 관한 연구

Abstract

프로코피에프(Sergei Prokofiev, 1891∼1953)는 20세기 전반에 활동했던 러시아의 작곡가이자 피아니스트로 20세기 현대 음악에 지대한 공헌을 한 대표적인 인물이다. 프로코피에프는 피아노라는 표현 수단을 빌려, 자신의 작품세계를 표현하는 중요한 매개체로 사용하였으며, 피아노 작품에서 그의 음악적인 특징이 잘 나타나고 있다. 또한 그는 바로크와 고전시대의 전통적인 형식과 현대적인 기법을 혼합한 신고전주의적 작품(피아노 작품으로는 Piano Sonata Op. 38 No. 5, Piano Concert Op. 55 No. 15가 있음)을 많이 작곡하였다. 즉 피아노 음악에 있어서는 19세기 전통을 계승하는데 그치지 않고 그의 독특한 야성적인 다이너미즘을 이룩하여 드뷔시 이후 피아노의 새로운 시대를 열어놓은 업적을 남겼다. 프로코피에프는 9곡의 피아노 소나타를 작곡했으며, 이는 프로코피에프 생에 전반인 40년 이상의 기간(1907∼1953)에 걸쳐 작곡되었기 때문에 그의 생애와 작풍의 변천을 쉽게 이해할 수 있다. 프로코피에프의 9개의 피아노 소나타 안에는 그의 음악양식의 변화, 음악관 등 모든 음악적 내용이 응집되어 있는데, 본 논문에서는 프로코피에프의 생애를 세 개의 시기로 나누어 주요작품과 9개 피아노 소나타에 대해 알아보고, 피아노 소나타 Op. 1 No. 1을 분석해 프로코피에프의 작품경향과 음악적 내용, 여러 가지 요소와 음악적 특징에 대해 연구해 보고자 한다.|Sergei Prokofiev(1891-1953), Russia’s composer and pianist in early 20th century, is the representative figure who made a great contribution to 20th century’s contemporary music. Prokofiev, burrowed piano as a means for expression and used it as an important mediator to express his world of music, and his musical characteristics are noticeably shown in his piano music. Also, he composed many neoclassical works combined with baroques, traditional forms of classical era, and modern techniques (For piano, there are Piano Sonata Op. 38 No. 5 and Piano Concert Op. 55 No. 15.). Needless to say, in piano music, he did not cease at inheriting the tradition of 19th century, but made achievement of opening new era of piano since Claude Debussy by accomplishing his unique wild dynamism. Prokofiev composed 9 piano sonatas. As they were composed during over 40 years of Prokofiev’s life(1907-1953), his life and changes in his music can be easily understood through the sonatas. In Prokofiev’s 9 sonatas, all of his musical details are condensed such as changes of his music style, view of music, etc. This study is to divide life of Prokofiev into three periods to inquire into Prokofiev’s main opuses and 9 piano sonatas, and research on music style, musical content, various elements, and musical characteristics of Prokofiev by analyzing Piano Sonata No. 1.
