컴퓨터 교과를 위한 웹 기반 수행평가 시스템의 설계 및 구현

Abstract

수행평가는 학습 과정에서 일어나는 학생의 학습 활동, 과제 수행들을 관찰하고 평가하여 교과 학습 성적에 반영하는 제도이다. 21세기 지식․정보화 사회에서 요구되는 창의성과 비판적 사고력 등의 고등정신능력을 측정하고, 학교 교육의 정상화 도모, 학생 개인의 성장․발달에 도움을 주는 정보 제공, 학교 수업을 개선하는 등 학생 개인에게 의미 있는 정보를 제공하기 위해 도입하여 실시하고 있는 수행평가 제도가 학교 현장에서는 아직까지 많은 어려움으로 제대로 정착되지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 수행평가의 문제점을 지적하고, 이러한 문제점의 개선과 보다 효율적인 수행평가의 확립에 목적을 두어 컴퓨터 교과를 위한 웹 기반 수행평가 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 수행평가의 안내 및 평가 업무를 체계적으로 관리함으로써 교사의 수행평가 관련 업무를 줄이고자 하였으며, 학생의 학습능력 변화 측면에서 학기 초에 공개되는 수행평가 계획을 통해 과제를 미리 확인하여 준비할 수 있도록 하였다. 수행평가의 성적을 점수와 그래프로 보여주어 학생의 학습능력 발달 상황을 한 눈에 알아볼 수 있도록 하여 자기 주도적 학습이 가능하다. 수행평가 결과를 웹을 통해 언제 어디서나 확인할 수 있고, 평가기준이 공개됨에 따라 평가에 대한 공정성과 객관성을 확보하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 제시된 수행평가 시스템은 교사들의 수행평가로 인한 막중한 업무를 줄이고, 학생들의 자기 주도적 학습이 가능하게 하며 공정한 평가와 유용한 정보를 제공함으로써, 교사와 학생 모두에게 유용한 시스템이 될 것이라고 기대한다.|Performance Assessment is a system to observe and evaluate students' learning activities and their performance for given problems. Because there are many difficulties in use, Performance Assessment System that executing to introduce for evaluating high grade mind ability something like initiative spirit and critical thinking power which is required in 21C knowledge and information-oriented society, normalization scheming of school education, information offer to development to each student and improvement school teaching can't fix in school yet. Accordingly, this paper embodied Performance Assessment System that indicate the problems from a tutor's point of view, purpose of improvement this problems and establishment efficient performance assessment. This system was designed for reduce teacher's task relative with performance assessment which is repeatedly executed task that guidance and evaluation of performance assessment. And students prepare their subject to preview performance assessment plan. This system makes to know that the educational ability progress situation of students through showing their records from graphs and conversed scores at a glance and easy to teachers makes out grade sheets through automatic conversing each field scores. Assessment basic and performance assessment results can be confirmed to students through the web site at anytime and anywhere and this system give a difinite report to fairness and objectivity to assessment. Our Performance Assessment System alleviates teachers' heavy burden caused by a performance assessment and is expected to be a beneficial system to both teachers and students by providing fair evaluation criteria and helpful information.
