초등학교 저학년 특기·적성교육에서의 피페(fife) 지도방안

Abstract

논문 개요

이 연구의 목적은 ‘피페’의 보급화를 위하여 초등학교 특기·적성교육에서 활용될 수 있는 ‘피페’ 지도방안을 개발하는 것이다. ‘피페’ 교육과정은 현재의 초등학교 교과과정에서 다루고 있지 않으므로, 방과후학교 중 특기·적성교육에서의 ‘피페’ 지도방안을 구성하여 초등학교 1, 2학년의 기악 영역에서 배울 수 있는 가락악기로서의 지도서를 제시하였다. 이론적 배경에서는 우선적으로 이 연구와 유사한 선행 연구를 고찰하여 초등학생을 대상으로 한 ‘피페’ 학습안에 대한 연구가 이전에 제대로 수행되지 않았음을 확인하였다. 초등학교의 음악학습에 대한 방향성을 정립하기 위하여, 초등학생의 음악적 특성에 대하여 인지발달 이론측면에서 연령별로 분석하여 연령별로 필요한 음악 활동에 대하여 정리하였다. 현재 교육과정 초·중·고등학교 교과서에서의 ‘피페’ 학습에 대한 분석을 통하여, ‘피페’에 관한 내용이 충분하지 않아 ‘피페’ 교육이 폭넓게 이뤄질 수 없음을 확인하였다. 이에 대한 대안으로 방과후학교 중 특기·적성교육을 활용하여 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 ‘피페’ 교육을 보급하는 방안을 제시하였다. ‘피페’ 지도에서는 우선적으로 ‘피페’에 대한 기본적인 사항을 고찰한다. ‘피페’의 역사, 특성, 구조 및 각 부분 명칭, 조립과 조율, 그리고 악기 관리를 우선 고찰한다. 그 다음, 가락악기로 보급이 잘 되어 있는 리코더와 ‘피페’의 비교를 통하여 ‘피페’의 초등학교 교과과정에서 사용될 수 있는 가능성을 타진해 본다. ‘피페’의 연주법에 대해서 연주자세, 운지법, 음을 내는 방법, 호흡법, 그리고 연습 시 주의사항에 대하여 정리하였다. 마지막으로, 특기·적성교육에서의 ‘피페’ 학습법을 계획하여 구성하였고, 두 가지 지도안을 제시하였다. ‘피페’ 학습내용을 12주 과정으로 계획하여 제시하였고, 지도안은 초등학교 1학년 교과서에 수록된 ‘누구를 만날까요’를 독주곡으로 제시하였고 초등학교 2학년 교과서에 수록된 ‘봄’을 합주지도안으로 제시하였다. 이 연구에서는 ‘피페’ 교육을 통하여 초등학교 기악수업에 대한 흥미를 유발시키고 합주를 통해 악곡의 표현을 체험하도록 하였다. 또한, 쉽게 연주법을 익힐 수 있는 ‘피페’의 학습을 통하여 학생들이 악기 연주에 자신감을 갖고 어려서부터 음악을 즐겁게 향유할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 ‘피페’가 더 많이 보급되고 알려져 친숙하게 활용되기를 바라고 특히, 특기·적성교육에서 시발점이 되어 초등학교 저학년이 리듬악기 뿐만 아니라 가락악기의 영역이 확대되기를 바란다.

A study on the teaching Method of Fife in Special Ability and Aptitude Education for Elementary School

The purpose of this study is to suggest the teaching method of playing the fife as a part of Special Ability and Aptitude Education for elementary school students, for the proliferation of the fife lesson in the musical instrument education. As the fife lesson is not included in the formal coursework of elementary school, the instruction plan of the fife as Special Ability and Aptitude Education in After-School programs for the first and second-grade elementary school students was developed. The necessity of the investigation on the instruction plan of the fife was investigated, followed by the proposal of the thesis, describing the contents and the direction of this study. Also, the constraints of the thesis were defined, to clearly express the scope and the purpose of the thesis. As a theoretical background, the precedent researches on the teaching the fife were investigated and the fact that no research on the fife lesson as an elementary school program was developed was confirmed. To establish the direction of the music learning in the elementary school coursework, the musical distinction of the elementary school students by age was analysed and summarized based on the cognitive development theory. Analysis on the current formal education programs of elementary, junior high, and high school confirmed that the contents on the fife lesson was not enough to enhance the proliferation of the fife lesson. As an alternative to the formal education programs, Special Ability and Aptitude Education in After-School programs can be utilized to spread out the fife lesson for the elementary school students. Fife lesson plan covers the basics for the fife, the playing technique of the fife, the comparison of the fife with the recorder. The basics of the fife, including the history of the fife, the features, structure and the parts, assembly and tuning, and the maintenance of the instrument was first investigated the playing technique of the fife, including the posture and stance, fingering, how to blow, and how to breathe was explained. The exercise cautions were also summarized. Through the comparison of the fife with the recorder, which is widely spread and well-known as a melody instrument easy to learn, the possibility of the fife as a popular instrument in the elementary school was examined. Finally, the instruction plan of the fife As the fife lesson is not included in the formal coursework of elementary school, the instruction plan of the fife as Special Ability and Aptitude Education in After-School programs for the first and second-grade elementary-school students was developed and the two detailed learning methods were proposed. The instruction plan was composed of 12-week practice and proposed. The learning methods were developed based on the elementary school text book songs and cover one solo and one ensemble. In conclusion the benefits from the proposed teaching methodology of playing the fife were summarized. In this study, learning the fife leads to enhancing students' interest in the musical instrument class in the elemantary school, especially gaining the experience in the expression of tunes through the ensemble. Also, the fife lesson, an easy-learning instrument lesson, leads the students to gaining the affirmativeness in playing the musical intruments and enjoying the musical experience. Throughout this investigation, the fife gains the more popularity, gets widely spread, and gets utilized with familiarity. Especially in Special Ability and Aptitude Education, the fife lesson leads the learning the melody instrument in the first and second grade elementary school.
