중학교 음악교과서 제재곡의 재즈 반주법 적용

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 재즈의 특징적 음악 요소인 리듬, 화성, 즉흥연주를 피아노 반주를 통해서 교과서 악곡에 적용하고 이를 통한 학생들의 다양한 미적 체험과 흥미를 유발 하는데 있다. 따라서 먼저 재즈의 역사를 살펴봄으로써 재즈의 예술적 가치를 인식하도록 하고, 교과서 악곡 반주에 적용 할 수 있는 재즈의 특징적 음악 요소를 자세히 살펴본 후, 교과서 제재곡 중 7곡을 선정하여 1단계 원곡의 화성을,2단계 재즈의 화성을 적용한 악보를 제시한 후, 3단계 완성된 악보를 제시하였다. 악곡의 선정은 재즈의 음악적 특징을 바탕으로 리하모니제이션에 적합한 교과서 악곡 ‘슈베르트의 자장가’, ‘기다리는 마음’, ‘도라지 타령’, ‘봄노래’, ‘노래는 즐겁다’, ‘매기의 추억’, ‘푸른 옷소매’를 선정하였다. 그리고 기존의 3화음을 7화음으로 변형, 주3화음의 대리코드 적용, 부속 7화음의 사용, Ⅴ화음의 투-파이브화, 텐션을 적용하는 방법으로 리하모니제이션 하였다. 이러한 과정을 보여주기 위해 주3화음으로 된 악보와 리하모니제이션 된악보를 제시한 후 발라드, 재즈 왈츠, 보사노바의 리듬을 활용한 악보를 제시하였다. 이 연구에서 살펴본 재즈의 특징적 음악 요소를 교과서 악곡을 반주 할 때적용하여 활용한다면 학생들은 반주를 통해 재즈의 음악 요소를 느낄 수 있고 리듬과 화성이 변화하는 즉흥성을 통해 창의력 신장에 도움이 될 것이다. 또한 학생들은 교과서 악곡에 흥미를 느껴 음악 시간에 적극적으로 참여 할 것이다.|The purpose of this study is to apply jazz style rhythms, harmony and improvisation to piano accompaniment of songs from a school textbook in order to expose students to new musical styles and stimulate their interests. For these means, the history of jazz music is first examined in order to gain an understanding of its artistic value, and then musical characteristics of jazz which can be applied to the pieces in textbooks are considered in detail. Afterwards, seven works were chosen from a middle school music textbook to be re-harmonized. For each work, an analysis of the original harmony, a re harmonized score based on jazz harmony, and a final version of the accompaniment part are presented. It was decided that the following pieces were the most suitable for re-harmonization into jazz harmony: Shubert's Lullaby, A Waiting Heart, Doraji Taryung, Spring Song, Muss I Denn, When You and I Were Young, Maggie, and Greensleeves. The following re-harmonization techniques were applied: changing triad harmony into 7th Chord , applying primary triad substitute chords and secondary dominant chords, changing V chord into ii-V patterns, and the addition of extended chord. To illustrate this process, a music score with primary triad, the re-harmonization, and scores employing ballad, jazz waltz, bossa nova rhythm were submitted. If the jazz music elements examined in this study are applied when accompanying songs from school textbooks, students will have an opportunity to experience jazz's unique musical characteristics, and their creative growth can be supported by encountering the ways that rhythms and harmonies interact and develop during improvisation. In addition, students can better enjoy the songs in the textbook and take a more active interest in music classes.
