중학교 미술 교과서의 내용분석(조소표현 영역을 중심으로)

Abstract

미술교육은 미적 감각을 길러 줌으로써 정서를 풍부하게 해주어 인간 생활을 질적으로 향상시키는 역할을 한다. 우리나라 미술과 교육은 다양한 미술 활동을 통하여 주변 세계의 아름다움을 느끼며 향유할 수 있는 심미적인 태도와 상상력, 창의성, 비판적인 사고력을 길러주고, 아울러 미술 문화를 이해하며 계승, 발전시킬 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 전인적 인간을 육성하는 데에 목적이 있다. 특히 미술과 교육에서 행하고 있는 조소 표현 학습은 입체 표현 활동을 통하여 창의성 함양과 구조적인 균형을 구축하여 미적 정서와 스스로 창작할 수 있는 생활의 기반을 형성하는데 중요한 영역이다. 현재 학교에서 시행하는 모든 교육은 제 7차 교육과정에 근거하여 이루어지고 있으며 미술 교과서 또한 교육과정에 맞추어 편찬되었다. 이러한 미술 교과서는 수업에 활용되어 학생들이 미술품을 창작하는데 도움을 줄 뿐 아니라 미적 능력과 안목을 향상시켜 주며, 미술 교육의 목적을 실현하고 구체화하여 체계적인 학습을 가능하게 해주는 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 현행 중학교 미술 교과서 표현 영역의 조소 단원을 분석하여 교과서의 체계와 구성의 문제점을 인식하고 보다 나은 미술교육의 발전을 모색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. Ⅰ. 서론에서는 본 연구의 목적과 방법 및 범위에 대해 서술하였다. Ⅱ. 이론적 배경에서는 현재 시행되고 있는 교과서의 의미와 역할, 제 7차 중학교 미술 교육과정과 미술교육에서 조소학습의 의의 등에 대해 고찰하였다. Ⅲ. 7종 중학교 미술 교과서 분석에서는 먼저 교과서를 분류하고, 전체 표현영역에서 조소 단원의 비중을 살펴보았으며 단원의 내용을 주제, 표현방법, 조형요소와 원리, 표현 재료와 용구로 나누어 분석하고, 참고도판은 표현형태, 방법, 형식, 재료, 작가, 과정, 도구, 작품 설명 등으로 살펴보았다. 이상의 연구 내용과 절차를 통하여 현행 미술 교과서 조소 표현 단원의 내용 및 도판 구성에 대한 문제점을 발견하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 얻고자 한다. 1. 각 단원에 구체적이고 다양한 단원명의 제시가 요구된다. 2. 표현영역 하부요소의 내용이 단원별로 균형 있게 구성되어야 한다. 3. 학생의 발달과정과 흥미, 지적 수준 등을 고려하여 학년별에 따라 심화학습 할 수 있도록 변별력 있는 내용체계와, 창의적인 표현 활동을 위하여 새롭고 다양한 표현 방법의 제시가 필요하다. 4. 다양한 형태, 방법, 형식의 작품과 전통 작품, 외국 학생들의 참고 작품을 제시하여 학생들로 하여금 창의적인 표현에 도움을 주고, 다양한 문화를 경험, 탐색하여 문화 창조에 기여할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 5. 표현 재료와 제작 과정, 용구 사용 시의 유의점 등을 충분히 제시하고,작가가 작품을 만든 의도 등의 상세한 설명을 통해 깊이 있는 학습을유도 하여야 한다. 이상으로 본 연구는 미술 교과서의 내용을 다양하고 적정하게 편성하여 교과서의 역할을 충분히 할 때 학생의 창의성과 개성을 신장시킬 수 있는 미술교육이 이루어 질 것이라는 점에 논고의 의미를 두고자 한다.| Art education gives aesthetic sense and full of sentiment, so it makes people have better life. The aim of our educational system is to let people feel and enjoy beauty around the world through art activities, and have aesthetic attitude, imagination, creativity and critical thinking. Furthermore, the whole person who is capable of understanding and developing artistic culture will be brought up. Especially, it is important for carving and modeling education part to build up artistic emotion and creative activities by themselves. Current education system comply with the 7th Korean Education Curriculum, and art textbook do as well as. Such an art textbook helps students not only create a work of art, but improve artistic ability and sense. Moreover, it takes a prime role of being able to learn systematic education due to realization and materialization of purpose of art education. This research aims at looking for development of better art education after the recognition that textbook has systematic and structural problems by analyzing carving and modeling section which is one part of art textbook. Ⅰ. In the introduction, the object, system and range of this research will be explained Ⅱ. The role of textbook, the 7th Korean Education Curriculum and meaning of carving and modeling education will be considered, in the theoretical background part. Ⅲ. In the analysis part about 7 kinds of middle school art textbook, firstly text books are classified and it is examined that how much carving and modeling section occupies in the textbook. The contents of unit of textbook is analyzed with subject, way of expression, element, principle, material and tool. Reference plate is searched with expression form, method, type, material, artist, process, tool, explanation of works, and etc. Process and matters of research above present problems of current art textbook about unit contents and plate structure, and conclusion takes below. 1. It is required that each unit shall have concrete and diverse unit name. 2. Subcontents of expression shall be organized with balance. 3. Because students' growth, interest and intellectual level are different, new and various way of expression shall be brought up in order to educate deeply and express creatively due to their grade. 4. As students are exposed to works of diverse form, method and type, such as traditional works and foreign students' works, it helps students have creative expression and experience various culture so as to contribute to creation of culture. 5. Material, making process and attention matters for tool application shall be fully indicated. Significant education shall be derived through explanation about artists' purpose for the works. The point of this research is that art education for enhancing creativity and characteristic of students will be achieved when textbook which has various contents and proper organization takes a role sufficiently.
