중등학교 음악과 임용고사문항과 교육대학원 교육과정의 상관연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 현행 국·공립중등학교 교사임용후보자선정 경쟁시험 문항분석과 중등음악교사 양성기관 중 서울시 교육대학원 음악교육 전공의 교육과정분석을 통해 서로 어느 정도의 연관성이 있는지 살펴보고 우수한 교사를 뽑는 기준인 임용고사와 교원양성기관에 대한 개선방안을 제시하는데 있다. 연구의 이론적 배경을 구축하기 위하여 법률적 내용을 근거로 신규교원 임용제도와 의의 및 기능, 신규교원 임용제도의 기준과 선발과정을 살펴보았고, 교원 양성기관의 변천과 현황, 국·공립 중등 음악교원 임용고사의 현황을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 분석에 따른 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 임용고사 출제문항 영역 중 음악교육론, 한국음악, 서양음악의 비율이 비교적 고르게 출제되었으나 세부적인 내용별 요소를 살펴보면 음악교육론에서는 음악과 교육과정, 한국음악에서는 악곡, 서양음악에서는 서양음악사가 가장 집중되어 출제되었음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 각 교육대학원마다 개설된 과목수와 교과교육학 과목의 비율과 교과내용학 과목의 비율이 큰 차이를 보였다. 교육대학원의 교육과정에 일정한 기준이 없이 교과목을 개설함을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 2005~2008년 임용고사의 출제문항과 교육대학원의 개설 과목을 보면 교과교육학과 교과내용학의 비율이 약 3:7, 약 4:6임을 알 수 있었다. 이는 임용고사 출제문항과 교육대학원의 개설과목들이 큰 차이 없이 연계되어 보이나 세부내용을 살펴본다면 임용고사 문항의 비율과 가장 근접하게 과목을 개설한 학교는 한 학교밖에 없음을 알 수 있었다. 즉 임용고사 문항과 교육대학원의 교과교육학, 교과내용학 과목이 서로 연계되어있지 않았다. 넷째, 2005~2008년도 임용고사 문항 중 교과내용학을 살펴보면 한국음악의 비율이 서양음악의 비율보다 더 높은 비중을 차지함에도 불구하고, 교육대학원에서 한국음악 관련 과목의 비율이 서양음악 관련 과목의 비율보다 높은 학교는 2개교뿐이었으며, 1학교는 한국음악 관련 과목이 하나도 없었다. 즉 한국음악 과목들이 현저히 부족하고 서양음악 관련 과목에 훨씬 많은 비중을 둔 교육과정을 실행하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.|The competing-test items for selecting the teacher candidates for the currently national and public secondary school are analyzed. And, the curriculums of the music-education major at the Graduate Schools of Education in Seoul out of institutions of educating the secondary music teachers are analyzed. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine whether there is mutual correlation to some extent, and to suggest the improvement plan for the selection test, which is the standard of selecting excellent teachers, and for the institution of educating teacher candidates. In order to implement the theoretical background in a research, it examined the significance and function in the selection system for new teachers based on the legal contents, and the criteria and the process for the selection system of new teachers. It considered a change and present status for the institutions of educating teachers, and the present condition for the selection test of music teachers in the currently national and public secondary schools. The following are the conclusions according to the analysis of this study. First, among spheres in the items for the selection test, the ratio in music education theory, Korean music, Western music was given relatively evenly. However, given examining the elements by the detailed contents, it could be known to have been presented the most intensively in the curriculum of the music studies for the music education theory, in musical piece for Korean music, and in Western music history for Western music. Second, every Graduate School of Education showed big difference in the ratio of the opened course numbers and of the subject pedagogy course numbers, and in the ratio of the subject contents. The curriculums at the Graduate Schools of Education could be known to be opened the subjects without the certain criteria. Third, given seeing the selection-test items in 2005~2008, and the opened subjects at Graduate Schools of Education, the ratio of the subject pedagogy and the subject contents could be known to be about 3:7 and about 4:6. This seems to be connected without big difference between the selection-test items and the opened subjects at Graduate Schools of Education. However, given examining the detailed contents, it could be known to be just one school that opened the subject most closely to the ratio of selection-test items. In other words, there was not mutual connection between the selection-test items and the subject pedagogy & the subject contents at Graduate Schools of Education. Fourth, given examining the subject contents among selection-test items in 2005~2008, the ratio of Korean music possesses the higher weight than the ratio of Western music. Nevertheless, there were only 2 Graduate Schools of Education whose ratio of the subjects related to Korean music is higher than the subject related to Western music. And, one school had not any subject related to Korean music at all. Namely, it could be known that subjects related to Korean music are notably insufficient, and that the curriculum is being carried out whose much more weight is placed on the subject related to Western music.
