중등 음악 교사의 효능감 조사 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 중등 음악 교사를 대상으로 자기 효능감 및 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감에 대한 관계를 분석하여 교직 사회에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓히고 교사의 효능감을 높이기 위한 효과적인 방안들이 제안될 수 있게 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 중등 교사의 자기 효능감 및 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감을 알아보기 위하여 전라북도 소재의 중등학교 현직 교사들을 연구대상으로 선정하고 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문지의 내용은 일반적 특성, 자신감, 자기조절 효능감, 과제난이도 선호, 교직 의식, 자율성, 근무환경, 대인관계, 교실 통제, 교수 전략, 음악 교과 지도, 동아리 지도 및 운영, 교과 지도 효능감, 음악 교사의 내적 인정으로 구성하였다. 총 70부를 배부하여 64부를 회수하였고, 이 중 미응답이 있는 3부를 제외한 총 61부를 최종 연구자료에 사용하였다. 수집한 설문지는 연구문제에 따라 Microsoft Office Excel 2007 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자기 효능감 및 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감은 각각 평균 4.0으로 보통 이상의 높은 수준으로 똑같이 나타났다. 영역별 평균 결과, 교사 효능감 평균이 4.1로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 음악 교사 효능감이 뒤를 이어 4.0으로 나타났다. 문항별 평균 결과, 22번 ‘나는 음악 교사로서 목표 의식, 사명감을 갖고 있다.’가 평균 4.5로 가장 높게 나타났다. 1번 ‘나는 실수를 두려워 하지 않는다.’와 20번 ‘나는 음악 영역에 있어서 최신 교육 공학을 이용하는 것에 자신이 있다.’는 평균 3.5로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 영역별 상관관계 분석 결과, 자기 효능감 및 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감은 모두 상관관계가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감이 .60으로 가장 높은 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 자기 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감이 .44, 자기 효능감과 교사 효능감이 .36으로 모두 .30 이상의 수치를 보이며 상관관계를 나타냈다. 중등 음악 교사의 효능감이 전체적으로 높은 것으로 보아 우리 교육의 미래도 희망적이다 할 수 있다. 교사 효능감과 음악 교사 효능감의 상관관계가 높은 것으로 보아 높은 효능감을 지속적으로 유지하여 음악 교과 지도가 효율적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 더 나은 학교 환경과 구조를 위한 해결 방안과 자신감 없는 교사들의 효과적인 문제해결을 위한 후속 연구가 필요하다. 교사 효능감이 이 연구를 비롯한 선행연구에서도 일률적으로 높게 나타난 것으로 보아 더 명확하고 객관적인 척도 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.|The purpose of the research is to analyze the relationship among self-efficacy, teacher's efficacy, and music teacher's efficacy for middle and high school music teachers, and to widen understanding a society of teaching profession, and to provide fundamental materials to suggest effect solutions to increase teacher's efficacy. For seeking them, the surveys were carried out to current middle and high school teachers which were selected as an object of the study in Jeollabuk-do Province. The contents of the surveys were composed of general character, confidence and self-control efficacy, assignment level preference, teaching profession consciousness, autonomy, working environment, personal relationship, classroom control, teaching strategy, music subject teaching, club teaching and management, subject teaching efficacy, and inner personality of music teachers. 64 copies were collected in total 70 copies which handed out, and 3 copies in 64 copies, which were nonresponse, were excluded, so final 61 copies were used for the research. Depending on the matters of the research, the collected surveys were analyzed by Microsoft Office Excel 2007. As the analysis result, each the self-efficacy and teacher efficacy scored average 4.0 which is equally higher level than standard. As the average result by fields, teacher efficacy got the highest score as average 4.1, and music teacher efficacy was followed by it as average 4.0. As the average result by questions, the question No. 22 'I have a sense of purpose and of duty' obtained the highest average as average 4.5. The questions which got the lowest average were No. 1 'I am not afraid of my mistake' and No. 20 'I am good at applying the newest educational technology in music field' as average 3.5. As the correlation analysis result by fields, the correlation among self-efficacy, teacher efficacy, and music teacher efficacy were high. The highest correlation was between teacher efficacy and music teacher efficacy as .60, and others were also shown the correlation figure which was more than .30 like between self-efficacy and music teacher efficacy as .44 and between self-efficacy and teacher efficacy as .36. The thing that generally middle and high school music teachers' efficacy were high means the future of our future of education is also very hopeful. As there is the correlation between teacher efficacy and music teacher efficacy, we need to have the solutions which can improve better school environment and system to achieve effective music subject teaching with keeping the high efficacy, and to do the follow-up research to solve the problems effectively for teachers without confidence. The measures development for more accurate and subjective have to carry out because the research and the advanced study were uniformly shown that the teacher efficacy was the high one.
