중국 내 아동·청소년 대상 음악중재 조사연구

Abstract

본 연구는 중국 내 아동 및 청소년을 대상으로 한 음악치료 중재 연구의 발전 현황을 분석하고, 이를 통해 중국 음악치료의 학문적 발전과 아동·청소년 대상 음악중재 연구의 실태를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 1999년부터 2023년까지 중국 학술지에 게재된 논문이다. 자료 수집을 위해 중국 내 전문 지식 학술 데이터베이스(CNKI)를 활용하였으며, '음악치료', '음악요법', '아동', '청소년' 등의 키워드를 사용하여 검색하였다. 총 602편의 논문 중 중복되거나 주제와 연관되지 않은 논문을 제외한 후 최종적으로 73편의 논문을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 음악치료 연구는 2003년에 처음 발표되었으며, 2014년부터 2018년까지 연구 수가 급증하였다가 2019년 이후 다시 감소하는 추세를 보였다. 연구대상은 주로 신경발달장애 아동이 많았으며, 그 중 자폐범주성장애 아동 대상 연구가 가장 많았다. 연구대상의 연령 분포를 보면, 12세 이하의 아동 대상이 대부분을 차지하였으며, 청소년 대상 연구는 상대적으로 적었다. 연구자의 학문적 배경을 분석한 결과, 의학 분야가 61.3%로 가장 많은 비중을 차지하였고, 그 다음으로 음악치료학(11.3%), 음악학(11.3%), 교육학(12.5%), 심리학(2.5%) 분야였다. 음악치료의 목표 영역은 주로 정서(26.3%), 신체(24.6%), 사회(20.2%) 영역에 집중되었으며, 인지(14.0%) 및 언어(13.2%) 영역에 관한 연구는 상대적으로 적었다. 중재 방법은 감상(29.1%), 연주(20.1%), 즉흥(17.2%), 가창(15.7%), 동작(12.7%) 등으로 분류되었으며, 감상 활동이 가장 많이 사용되었다. 한국 음악치료가 다른 예술치료와 결합해서 중재를 하는 것과 달라, 중국에서는 의료 영역과 협력하고 색광요법과 같은 특별한 음악중재 방법을 발전되었다. 본 연구는 중국 내 아동 및 청소년 대상 음악치료 연구의 발전 현황을 종합적으로 분석함으로써, 다수의 중국 현지 음악치료 학술 논문을 체계적으로 분석하여 이 분야의 연구 공백을 보완하고, 향후 중국 음악치료에 대한 심층적 연구를 위한 포괄적이고 전문적인 참고 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 한국 학자들이 중국 음악치료의 발전 현황을 보다 잘 이해할 수 있도록 돕는 동시에, 국제 음악치료 학계에 문화적·지역적 특성을 반영한 중요한 데이터를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.|This study analyzed the development of music therapy intervention research for children and adolescents in China. It aims to understand both the academic progress of music therapy in China and the current state of music intervention research for children and adolescents. The study focused on papers published in Chinese journals from 1999 to 2023, specifically those that involved music as the sole intervention variable. Data were collected from the CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) database, using keywords such as “music therapy,” “children,” and “youth.” Of the 602 papers found, 73 were selected for analysis after excluding duplicates and papers unrelated to the topic. The first music therapy study in China was published in 2003, and the number of studies increased rapidly from 2014 to 2018, before declining again after 2019. The majority of the research subjects were children with neurodevelopmental disabilities, with studies on children with autism being the most common. In terms of age distribution, most studies focused on children under 12, and relatively few studies were conducted on adolescents. The analysis of researchers' academic backgrounds revealed that the medical field accounted for the largest proportion at 61.3%, followed by music therapy (11.3%), musicology (11.3%), education (12.5%), and psychology (2.5%). The primary target areas of music therapy were emotional (26.3%), physical (24.6%), and social (20.2%) domains, with relatively fewer studies focusing on cognitive (14.0%) and linguistic (13.2%) domains. Intervention methods were categorized into listening (29.1%), performance (20.1%), improvisation (17.2%), singing (15.7%), and movement (12.7%), with listening activities being the most commonly used. Unlike music therapy in South Korea, which often integrates with other forms of art therapy, China has developed unique approaches by collaborating with medical fields and incorporating special methods such as chromotherapy alongside music interventions. By comprehensively analyzing the development of music therapy research for children and adolescents in China, this study aims to systematically analyze a number of local music therapy academic papers in China to supplement the research gap in this field and provide comprehensive and professional reference materials for in-depth research on music therapy in China in the future. This will help Korean scholars better understand the development of music therapy in China, while providing important data reflecting cultural and regional characteristics to the international music therapy academia.
