전래동요 분석 및 개정 7차 음악교육에 따른 활성화 제안

Abstract

본 연구는 우리나라의 음악과 교육과정에서 국악교육의 비중이 점차 커짐에 따라 학교 현장에서 교사들이 전래동요를 지도하는데 참고자료를 제시함으로서 도움을 주고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 여러 지역의 전래동요를 모아놓은 국립국악원 전통 동요 자료집 ‘꿩꿩 장서방’을 중심으로 전래동요의 가사와 선율을 분석하고, 앞으로 시행될 개정 7차 교육과정의 음악교과 내용 중 전래동요 관련 내용 요소들을 기준으로 타 교과와의 연계성을 고려하여 다양한 활동을 제시함으로서 참고자료로 활용 될 수 있도록 제안하였다. 전래동요 참고 자료의 내용 연구는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교에서 현재 사용되고 있는 기존 7차 교육과정에 의한 초등학교 1, 2학년 즐거운 생활과 3∼6학년 음악 교과서의 전래동요를 박자, 구성음으로 세분화하여 분석하였다. 분석한 결과 4학년 이하의 학년에서는 다양한 전래동요가 제재곡으로 제시되어 있으나 4학년 이후 전래동요가 급격하게 줄어들면서 민요의 수록이 많아졌음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 자진모리장단, 3개 음 구성의 곡이 교과서에 수록된 전래동요 중 가장 많은 비중을 차지하고 있다. 둘째, 국립국악원 전통동요 자료집 “꿩꿩 장서방”의 전 곡을 가사, 구성음, 박자(장단), 주요 리듬, 지역으로 세분화하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 세 개음 구성 이 가장 많았으며, 12/8박이 가장 많이 수록되어 있다. 셋째, 국립국악원 전통 동요 자료집 ‘꿩꿩 장서방’에 수록된 전체 120곡 중 개정 7차 교육과정에 제시된 전래동요 관련 내용을 근거하여, 현재 아이들이 직접 경험하고 생활 속에서 즐겨 부를 수 있는 노래를 중심으로 ‘1학년(7곡), 2학년(7곡), 3학년(5곡), 4학년(4곡), 5학년(3곡), 6학년(3곡)’ 총 29곡을 선별하였다. 넷째, 개정 7차 음악과 교육과정 내용을 바탕으로 타 교과와의 통합적 교육을 할 수 있도록 하기 위해 과학과, 사회과 등의 교육 과정을 참고로 하여 각 학년별 전래동요를 선별하고, 다양한 신체 활동 및 전래동요가 가능하도록 교수·학습 참고자료를 제안하였다. 전래동요는 아이들의 노래이다. 따라서 청소년기가 시작되기 전 초등학교 아이들에게 민요를 접하기 전에 먼저 전래동요를 부르게 함으로써 우리나라 전통 음악을 이해하고 신체 활동 등 다양한 활동을 통해 흥미를 갖게 됨으로써 우리 문화유산의 가치를 인식할 수 있는 계기가 될 것이다.|The purpose of this research is to provide a guideline and references for school teachers to teach traditional children's songs according to the increasing importance of traditional music in current curriculum. In order to do so, the source book 'Kwong Kwong Jang Seo Bang', from conservatory of National center for Korea traditional performing arts is used in this study. Analysis on the lyrics and melody of songs in the source book have been performed to provide guidelines for possible curriculum activities in accordance with traditional children's songs in music education section of the forthcoming revised 7th national music education curriculum. Also the connection between traditional children's songs and other school subjects have been considered. The main concepts of the study is as follows; First, the children's songs of the 1st-6th grade music textbooks were categorized by rhythm and tonal scale The result showed that various selection of nursery songs were included in textbooks 4th grade and lower. However, significant decrease in nursery songs and increase of folk songs were observed 4th grade textbooks and higher. In addition 'Jajin-mori' rhythm and 3-note songs was the most frequently found. Second, the analysis was undertaken by segmentation of all songs by lyrics, scale note, tempo, rhythm and region(origin) in 'Kwong Kwong Jang Seo Bang'. As a result, 3-note and 12/8 songs were most frequently found. Third, regarding the revised 7th national music curriculum, a total of 29 songs was selected from 'Kwong Kwong Jang Seo Bang', which seemed to be fit for children at present time. The selected songs consist of seven each for 1st and 2nd grade, five for 3rd grade, four for fourth grade, three for fifth grade and three for sixth grade. Fourth, new curriculum and supplementary source have been suggested to achieve unific education of music and other subjects such as science and social studies. This action was undertaken by selection of children's songs according to the grade level and introduction of various physical activities in singing the songs. Teaching children's songs to elementary stage children before they get in touch with folk songs is a critical issue. In order to achieve this goal, rising interest by introducing various attractive activity such as physical activities to traditional music seems important. All these efforts would bear in their minds the importance and value of our traditional cultural heritage.
