장애인의 비장애 형제자매를 위한 치료적 노래 만들기 가사내용 분석 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 치료적 노래 만들기를 통해 장애인의 비장애 형제자매가 가지고 있는 심리적 이슈와 그 내용을 알아보는데 있다. 연구 참여자는 발달장애(자폐증) 1-3급의 형제가 있는 청년기 비장애인이다. 치료적 노래 만들기 활동은 장애인의 비장애 형제자매들이 각자 가지고 있는 이슈들과 연관지어 직접 음악을 만들고 가사를 쓰는 방식으로, 2020년 9월 2일부터 11월 4일까지 50분씩 주 1회, 총 9회기에 걸쳐 진행되었다. 연구의 자료는 이들이 만든 19개의 곡 가사 내용이다. 치료적 노래 만들기 절차는 Baker와 Wigram(2006)의 모델을 수정·보완하여 치료적 노래 만들기 활동을 진행하였으며 노래 가사 내용은 Braun과 Clarke(2006)의 주제 분석 과정에 따라 분석하였다. 총 19곡으로부터 5개의 주제와 32개의 코드, 178개의 단어 및 문장으로 이루어진 가사가 도출되었다. 주제는 ‘긍정적 감정’, ‘부정적 감정’, ‘관계 역동’, ‘자아’, ‘형제와 나’로 분류하였다. ‘긍정적 감정’은 장애인 형제에게 좋은 영향을 줄 수 있을 거라는 기대·희망에 대한 내용이 포함되어 있다. ‘부정적 감정’은 장애인의 비장애 형제자매가 경험한 사건과 미래에 대한 걱정으로 인해 나타나는 다양한 부정적 표현들로 이루어져 있다. ‘관계 역동’은 장애인 형제 외에 가족 구성원이나 타인과의 관계 및 갈등에 대한 내용이 포함되어 있으며, ‘자아’는 장애인 형제와 관련된 자신의 내면적 갈등 및 심리 상태를 나타낸 내용을 포함하고 있다. 마지막으로 ‘형제와 나’는 오로지 장애인 형제와 자신과의 관계에 대한 표현으로 분류하였다. 가사 내용의 분석결과, 장애인의 비장애 형제자매는 장애인 형제와의 관계에 대해 다양하고 구체적인 표현을 가장 많이 하였고, 다음으로는 자기 자신에 관련한 표현의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 장애인 형제로 인해 생긴 부정적인 감정에 대한 가사의 비율이 세 번째로 높은 비율을 보였으며, 그 뒤를 이어 타인과의 관계 역동, 긍정적인 감정 순으로 나타났다. 장애인의 비장애 형제자매는 이중에서도 미래에 있을 장애인 형제와의 생활 및 관계에 대한 걱정과 불안한 마음이 가장 큰 이슈인 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 미래와 관련하여 심리적으로 많은 부담감을 느끼지만, 책임감 또한 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 앞으로 이루어질 장애인의 비장애 형제자매를 위한 심리적 지원과 가사 내용분석 연구의 기초 자료가 될 수 있음을 시사한다.|The purpose of this study is to find out the psychological issues and contents of the non-disabled siblings of the disabled through therapeutic song writing. Participants in the study are non-disabled in their youth, who have siblings of grades 1 to 3, with developmental disabilities (autism). The therapeutic song writing was conducted once a week for 50 minutes, from September 2 to November 4, 2020, for total of 9 sessions. The research data is the lyrics of 19 songs written by the non-disabled siblings of the disabled that they made their own music and wrote lyrics in connection with their own issues. The therapeutic song writing procedure was carried out by modifying and supplementing the models of Baker and Wigram (2006), and the song lyrics were analyzed according to the subject analysis process of Braun and Clarke (2006). From a total of 19 songs, five themes and 32 codes, 178 words and sentences were derived. Themes were categorized as 'positive feelings', 'negative feelings', 'relationship dynamics', 'self' and 'brother and me'. Positive emotions include expectations and hopes that they can have a good impact on disabled siblings. "Negative feelings" are composed of various negative expressions caused by events experienced by the disabled's non-disabled siblings and anxiety about the future. In addition to disabled siblings, "relationship dynamics" includes content on relationships and conflicts with family members or others, while "self" includes content that shows one's internal conflicts and psychological status related to disabled siblings. Finally, 'Sibling and I' was classified solely as an expression of the relationship between disabled siblings and themselves. As a result of the contents analysis of lyrics, the non-disabled siblings of the disabled expressed various and specific expressions about their relationship with the disabled brothers the most, followed by a high percentage of expressions related to themselves. The third highest percentage of lyrics about negative emotions caused by brothers with disabilities was followed by dynamic relationships with others and positive emotions. Among them, the non-disabled siblings of the disabled are the biggest issues of concern and anxiety about their future lives and relationships with the disabled brothers. In particular, it has been shown that while psychologically burdened with respect to the future, the responsibility is also very large. Therefore, this study suggests that could serve as a basis for psychological support for non-disabled siblings for the disabled and for lyrics content analysis studies to be undertaken in the future.
