음악치료에 대한 전당뇨병/당뇨병 환자들의 만족도 조사 및 관련 전문인들의 인식도 조사

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 음악치료에 참여한 전당뇨병 환자들과 당뇨병 환자들의 만족도를 조사하고, 음악치료에 대한 인식에서 당뇨병 관련 전문인들이 어떻게 생각하고 차이를 보이는지 조사하는 것이었다. 첫번째, 전당뇨병 환자 84명과 당뇨병 환자 50명 총 134명을 대상으로 만족도 조사를 하였으며, 두 번째, 대한당뇨병학회에 등록된 병원 및 기관에서 근무하는 당뇨병 관련 전문인 187명을 인식도 조사 대상으로 선정하였다. 본 연구 결과 89%의 전당뇨병 환자들과 73%의 당뇨병 환자들이 전반적으로 높은 만족도를 보였으며, 특히 환자들은 음악치료가 실생활에 도움이 된다는 것에 가장 높은 만족을 나타냈다. 당뇨병 관련 전문인들의 인식도 조사에서는 모든 직종의 집단이 평균 이상의 높은 점수를 보여 직업별 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그중 영양사 집단 가장 높은 인식을 보인 반면 의사 집단이 상대적으로 가장 낮은 인식도를 보였다. 특히 기대도 영역에서는 모든 직종의 전문인들이 높은 점수로 나타나 직종을 불문하고 음악치료에 대한 기대가 크다는 긍정적인 반응으로 보여진다. 근무지에서 음악치료의 시행유무는 전문인들의 인식도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 보고되어(p<.01) 음악치료가 시행되는 곳에서 근무하는 전문인들이 그렇지 않은 전문인들보다 음악치료에 대해 더 높은 인식을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 음악치료 목적 영역에 대한 평가는 모든 집단에서 “즐거움 제공(우울감 감소)”, “긴장이완”, “삶의 질 향상”, “혈압의 안정성 유지” 등을 효과적인 치료 목적으로 함께 평가하였다. 음악치료가 시행되고 있는 곳에서 근무하는 전문인들과 음악치료에 직접 참여하거나 참관한 경험이 있는 전문인들은 “적절한 행동 촉진”, “사회적 기술 향상”, “운동량 증가”, “자존감 증진”, “인지 재구조” 등 더 다양한 치료 목적에서 높은 평가를 한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 음악치료가 다양한 목적으로 환자에게 적용되고 있는 것으로 앞으로 당뇨병 환자를 위한 전문적인 프로그램이 될 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.|The purpose of the study was to investigate the satisfaction level of pre-diabetic and diabetic patients who participated in the music therapy, the recognition level by the professional in diabetes hospitals on the perceived relevance of music therapy, and the different views of professionals on the goal of music therapy. First, we researched the satisfaction level of 134 individuals in total who were consisted of 84 pre-diabetic patients and 50 diabetic patients. Second, the perception control group were 187 individuals of diabetes health professionals working in health care facilities registrated in the Korean Diabetes Association. The study results demonstrated high level of satisfaction of the 89% of pre-diabetic and 73 % of diabetic patients on music therapy. In particular, the patients showed high satisfaction in the practicability of the therapy. Every occupation had high scores above average in the study of recognition level of the health professionals. Among them, nutritionist group showed the highest level. In contrast, doctor group showed the lowest level. Especially on the expectation level, all of the health professionals in every occupation showed very high level of expectation by giving high scores to music therapy regardless of their occupation. As the fact of the execution of music therapy in the working facilities had significant influence on the professionals' recognition level was reported (p<.01), professionals those who work in facilities with music therapy had a more positive view on music therapy it self rather than professionals those who work in the other place. On the evaluation of the goal of the music therapy program, the providing of enjoyment (decrease in depression), relaxation, improvement in QOL, and maintaining resting blood pressure in every occupation were evaluated as effective therapeutic goals. The professionals those who work in the facilities music therapy and the professionals those who took part in the music therapy directly or had experience in the music therapy had a high evaluation in the various therapy purpose such as Promoting Appropriate Behavior, Improving Social Skills, the increase of exercising and Cognitive Restructuring. This result shows music therapy is applied to patients on various purposes and might become professional program for the diabetic patients.
