음악대학 작곡전공 학생들의 진로인식 및 진로결정수준

Abstract

이 연구에서는 음악대학 작곡전공 학생들의 진로인식 및 진로결정수준을 알아봄으로서 작곡전공 학생들의 진로에 대한 현재 상황을 알아보는 것에 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 음악 전공생들의 졸업 후 진로선택에 대한 문헌연구와 음악대학 작곡전공 학생들의 진로결정수준을 학년별로 살펴보았다. 진로결정수준이란 진로결정, 진로미결정, 결단성 부족 등을 통해 자신의 전공 및 직업의 선택과 관련된 확신의 정도를 파악하여 현재 자신이 부족한 요인을 보충하여 진로인식을 높이는 것이다. 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 음악대학 작곡전공 학생들의 진로인식 및 진로결정수준을 알아보기 위하여 서울 소재의 음악대학에 재학 중인 작곡 전공 학생들을 연구대상으로 선정하고 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지의 내용은 일반적 특성, 전공 선택요인 및 관심도, 진로인식, 희망진로 인식, 진로결정수준으로 구성하였다. 총 160부의 설문지를 배포하여 150부를 회수하였고, 이중 응답이 불성실한 10부를 제외한 총 140부의 자료를 사용하여 분석하였다. 수집한 설문지는 연구문제에 따라 기술 통계분석(SPSS), 빈도분석, 일원분산분석, 연계성을 알아보기 위한 피어슨 분산분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 음악대학 작곡전공 학생들은 93.6%의 학생들의 전공에 만족스러워 하고 있었으며, 이들은 졸업 후 진로를 자신의 전공에 맞게 설정하고, 선택한 직업에 대한 정보를 인식하고 있었다. 또한 학년에 따른 진로결정수준을 요인별로 보았을 때 차이는 나타나지 않았지만, 진로계획을 세운 학생 49.3%, 세우지 않은 학생 50.7%로 이들의 진로계획유무에 따라서는 진로계획을 세운 학생들의 진로결정수준이 높았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 음악대학 작곡전공 학생들이 다양한 진로를 선택할 수 있고, 연령에 따른 차별화된 교육으로 전문성을 갖추어 시도 될 수 있도록 음악교육계의 논의가 활발히 이루어지기를 기대하는 바이다.|The purpose of this study was to examine the current status of the career path of students in music composition major by studying the career recognition and career decision level of students. This study, referenced literatures on the career choices after graduation form music major and examined career decision level by grade of students in music composition major students Career decision level is through career decision, career indecision, and lack of determination, than understand the degree of confidence related to the selection of their major and career, and to enhance career recognition by supplementing factors that are lacking at present. In this study, based on the literature reviews, to understand current status of career recognition and career decision level of students in music composition major, students who are majoring in music composition at music college in Seoul were selected as research subjects and conducted a questionnaires. The contents of questionnaire consisted of general characteristics, selection factors and interest of major, career recognition, desired career recognition and decision level. A total of 160 questionnaires were distributed and 150 copies were retrieved, and of these 140 respondents were statistically treated except for the 10 fraudulent responses. The collected questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS, Frequency Analysis, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson’s ANOVA depending on the research problem. As a result, 93.6% of students in music composition major of music college were satisfied with their major, and after graduation they set their career paths for their majors and aware of information about the career chosen. There was no difference in the level of career decision according to grade, and 49.3% of students who set up a career plan , and 50.7% of students who did not have career plan depending on the career plan, the career decision level of the students who set up the career plan was high. Based on these result, college student in music major can choose from variety of career and it is expected that the discussion of music education will be actively conducted so that it can be tried with differentiated education according to age.
