음악교육 관련 웹 사이트의 현황과 활용 방안 연구

Abstract

오늘날 급속히 변화하는 정보화 시대에 발맞추어 우리 음악 교육에서는 이미 많은 수업현장에서 인터넷 사이트를 비롯한 다양한 첨단 멀티미디어 자료들이 활용되고 있다. 제 7차 교육과정에서는 멀티미디어와 인터넷자료 등 다양한 매체를 활용한 교수-학습 자료의 구성을 제안하여 각 교과의 학습 내용과 방법에 보다 구체적인 정보화의 모습을 부여하는 방법 중 하나로 교과서 내용 속에 웹 사이트를 기재하고 있다. 교육 매체의 한 종류로 자리 잡게 된 웹 사이트를 이용한 교육은 학생의 학습동기 유발은 물론 학습에 대한 흥미를 높여준다. 이에 본 연구는 국내의 인터넷에 방대하게 개설되어 있는 음악관련 사이트에 대한 정보 검색을 실시한 후 사이트의 음악적인 내용을 제외한 전체적인 사이트의 구성을 평가하며, 검색 관련 사이트를 소개한다. 그리고 검색결과를 토대로 교사가 인터넷 사이트를 음악수업에서 수업자료로 활용하도록 도움을 주기 위해 초등학교 4학년 음악 교과서를 선정해 인터넷을 적용시켜 수업 지도안을 작성하는 것이 목적이다. 이에 다음과 같은 방법으로 연구 하였다. 음악교육과 관련된 웹 사이트를 검색하기 위해 대표적인 검색엔진 다음(www.daum.net),야후(www.yahoo.co.kr), 네이버(www.naver.com)를 통해 ‘음악사’, ‘음악 이론’, ‘국악’, ‘초등학교 음악’, ‘중학교 음악’, ‘고등학교 음악’의 검색어를 입력한다. 검색된 결과 중에서 음악교육 관련 웹 사이트를 소개하며, 검색된 사이트의 전체적인 구성을 평가하여 점수가 높은 사이트를 소개하고, 사이트의 개선점을 조사해 보았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 사이트의 객관적인 평가도구로 미국 도서관 협회(American Library Association: ALA)의 평가도구를 사용하였는데, 이 도구는 국내에는 음악교육 관련 웹 사이트를 평가하는 도구가 없기 때문에 사이트의 음악적인 내용은 평가하지 않았으며 전체적인 구성을 평가한다. 이 논문에서는 음악 교육관련 웹 사이트를 검색하여 ALA 평가 도구를 토대로 사이트의 현황을 알아보고, 초등학교 4학년 음악교과에 인터넷을 적용시켜 가창, 감상, 기악, 창작 영역의 한 단원을 선정해 수업지도안을 작성해 보았다. 이와 같은 연구를 통하여 다음과 같은 결과를 나타내었다. 첫째, 다음, 네이버, 야후를 통해 음악교육 관련 사이트는 152개 검색되었으며, ‘음악사’는 22개의 사이트, ‘음악 이론’은 29개의 사이트, ‘국악’은 47개의 사이트, ‘초등학교 음악’은 21개의 사이트, ‘중학교 음악’은 22개의 사이트, ‘고등학교 음악’은 10개의 사이트가 검색되어 국악에 관련된 사이트가 다른 영역에 비해 많이 개설되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, ALA평가 도구로 평가 해 본 결과 정보의 출처를 밝히지 않았다거나, 사이트의 목적이 제시되지 않았고, 사이트에 제시된 자료의 저작권에 대한 권리의 명시가 되어 있지 않은 사이트가 많았다. 셋째, ALA평가 도구로 사이트를 평가하여 33점 만점 중에 31점 이상을 받은 8개의 사이트를 자세히 소개하며 사이트의 장·단점을 알아보았다. 넷째, 초등학교 4학년 음악교과 과정 중 활동영역의 가창, 감상, 기악, 창작 영역에 한 단원씩을 선정하여 수업지도안을 작성해본 결과, 수업 자료를 많이 찾을 수는 있었지만 중복된 자료들이 많았고, 자료를 등록했다가 삭제를 해버린 경우가 참 많았다. 그러므로 첨단 매체 활용을 위한 새로운 교수-학습 모형 개발이 활성화 되어 수업에 필요한 많은 정보의 유통이 이루어져야 하겠고, 교사들의 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 환경을 구축해야 한다고 생각한다. 음악교육 관련 웹 사이트를 조사 연구 해보니 각 사이트의 장점만을 가진 통합적이고 체계적인 모형의 사이트가 필요하며, 학습활동에서 인터넷의 활용이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 음악교육 사이트를 평가할 수 있는 평가도구가 개발이 되었으면 하는 바램 이다.|A lots of multimedia materials including internet sites are being used for music education. Teaching methods using internet webpage, which has gained its ground as a type of education media, which not only induces students' learning motivation but also increases their interest in learning. Accordingly, the current study assesses the structure of website except musical contents after surfing many domestic music sites, and introduces several search related sites. The research method was following. Firstly, enter keywords such as 'music history', 'music theory', 'Korean traditional music', 'elementary school music', 'junior-high school music' and 'high school music' in representative search engines like Daum(www.daum.net), Yahoo(www.yahoo.co.kr) and Naver(www.naver.com) in order to search websites related to music education. Then the research introduced music education related websites among the results searched, introduces sites with high marks by evaluating overall composition of those sites, and suggested improvement measures of the sites. Therefore, the current study examined the actual condition of relevant sites using an assessment tool of American Library Association(ALA) as an objective assessment tool, and created lessons plan with applying the Internet to elementary school 4th grade music subject by selecting one chapter each for singing, appreciation, musical instrument and creation. The following are the research results. First of all, 152 music education related sites were searched through Daum, Naver and Yahoo; 22 sites with 'music history', 29 sites with 'music theory', 47 sites with 'Korean traditional music', 21 sites with 'elementary school music', 22 sites with 'middle school music' and 10 sites with 'high school music'. It was found that internet sites related with Korean traditional music were opened more than other areas. Secondly, as a result of assessment with the ALA's tool, there were many sites that didn't clarify the resource of information and specify copyright about data in the sites. Thirdly, the research fully introduced eight sites which gained a score of over 31 out of 33 by assessing with the ALA's tool and examined their strong points and weak points. Fourthly, after writing lesson plans by selecting one chapter each for singing, appreciation, musical instrument and creation among elementary school 4th grade music subject, it was observed that there were many repetitive sites and deleted data even though a lot of teaching materials were found. Therefore, it is necessary to develop teaching-learning models for utilizing cutting-edge media, and to establish hardware and software environment of teachers. From the research into music education related websites, it was found that development of integrative and systematic sites with strong points from each site is necessary. I hope that students majoring in music education will study this area with more affection and interest. In addition, I hope although ALA's website assessment tool is excellent, better assessment tools will be developed in order to assess music education sites as the use of internet is increasing in learning activity.
