유아 음악 교육의 실태 조사 연구

Abstract

음악은 인간의 삶을 보다 윤택하고 풍요롭게 하는 역할을 해왔으며 인간으로 하여금 심미적인 삶을 누릴 수 있게 하는 원동력을 제공함으로 유아 교육 기관에서도 이 음악의 중요성을 알고 음악 교육에 대한 관심이 크게 증가하게 되었다. 다양한 음악 활동은 유아의 창의적인 사고를 촉진하고 상상력을 발달 시켜주며 유아가 음악을 통하여 자신의 감정과 생각을 표현함으로써 정서적인 안정감을 얻고 심미적 감각을 소유하게 되며, 더 나아가 생활이 보다 풍요로워 진다. 그러나 유아 음악교육은 유아 교육기관의 음악 교육 과정에 음악교육에 대한 방법이 명시되어 있지만 수업 내용적인 면에서 체계적이지 못하며 교육 환경과 시설적인 면에서 유아 음악 교사들은 음악 수업을 하는데 있어서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재 유아 교육 기관에서 음악 교육을 하고 있는 일반 교사, 국악 교사, 오르프 슐레 교사들을 대상으로 현재 유아 교육 기관에서 시행되고 있는 음악 수업을 실태를 파악하여 유아 음악교육의 어려운 점과 개선점을 알아보고 유아 음악교육 프로그램이 다양하게 늘어남에 따라 유아 음악 교사들의 유아 음악 프로그램의 연수 참여 실태를 알아보고자 하는데 목적이 있다.

이 연구는 서울 시내에 소지한 유아 교육 기관의 일반 교사, 국악 교사, 오르프 슐레 교사를 대상으로 하였으며 설문지를 사용해 그 결과를 바탕으로 조사 분석 하였다. 설문지를 통하여 분석한 결과 첫째, 유아들에게 음악교육에서 음악 능력 향상을 위해 가장 중요한 것이 음악적 시설로 나타났으며, 75%가 현재 기관에 음악 수업을 진행하는 공간이 따로 마련되어 있지 않았고 유아의 음악 지도 시 가장 어려운 점이 유아의 비율 및 공간, 시설의 부족이 40%를 차지하는 것으로 보아 현재 유아 기관의 음악 지도에 있어서 열악한 환경적인 면을 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 현재 교사들에게 음악 수업 시 도움 받는 교안이나 자료가 있는가의 질문에 69%가 ‘아니요’라는 선택을 하였고 효과적인 음악수업을 위해 필요한 것이 교사를 위한 지속적인 음악연수에 40%가 선택하였다. 교사들이 유아들에게 음악 교육 시 수업에 관한 자료가 부족하고 다양한 음악 연수 프로그램이 시급하다는 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 41%의 연수 유경험자를 대상으로 조사한 결과 평균 2.2회 연수를 경험한 것으로 조사 되었다. 연수 프로그램이나 연수를 진행하는 강사에 대한 만족도는 대부분 만족한 것으로 나타났고, 강의 내용은 통합 프로그램 구성을 가장 많이 연수 받은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 유아 교육 기관의 음악 교육의 효율적인 수업방안으로는 먼저 음악 수업에 필요한 악기 및 교구재를 강화하고 유아 교육 기관의 음악 수업 환경적인 면의 개선에 관계 당국의 행정 조치가 필요하며, 교사들에게 음악 전문 지식을 높이고 유아의 음악적 발달사항을 고려한 다양한 프로그램 연수가 실시되어야 할 것이다. 또한 본 연구는 유아 교육기관에서 음악 교육을 하는 일반 교사, 국악 교사, 오르프 슐레 교사만을 대상으로 조사하여 비교 분석한 결과를 연구하였기 때문에 일반화 할 수 없으므로 유아 음악 교육기관에서 음악 교육을 담당하고 있는 전체 교사들을 조사하여 비교한 후 차이점을 알아보고 유아 교육 기관의 교육 실태와 효율적인 교육 방안을 제시해 유아 음악 교육의 발전에 기여하기를 제안한다.|Music has made human’s life richer. The young children's educational institutions which acknowledge the importance of music which is to motive the people to live aesthetically are attributing the importance of teaching music. Various music activities make young children to improve their originality and imagination. Young children will have emotional comforts and aesthetical senses by expressing their own senses and by thinking through music. Furthermore, they will live richer. The music education courses of the infant music educational institution specify how to teach music to young children. But the lack of contents in the educational environment and facilities, music teachers have troubles teaching the children. For that reason, this research aims at checking the actual conditions of teachers' attendance to research studies as the diversity of the young children's music educations program increases the diversity of after researching difficulties and reform measure by checking the realities how music teacher, Korean classical music teacher and orff schule teacher who teach in the young children's educations institutions make classes. This research investigates and analyzes the result of questionnaires which are taken from music teacher, such as Korean classical music teachers and orff schule teachers who teach in Seoul. The result of analysis through questionnaires; at first, the most important aspect for development of musical ability in the young children's music educations is musical facilities. 75% of the young children's educational institutions have no extra place for teaching music and 40% of teacher said the worst trouble for teaching music to young children is the ratio of young children, extra space for teaching music and insufficiency of facilities. Therefore, we can see how bad teaching environments are through the results of questionnaires. Secondly, 69% of teachers chose ‘no’ with the question asking if they have any assistance data and teaching plan. And 40% of teachers chose continuous music research class for the teachers in order to have effective music class for the children. With these results, we can conclude that music teachers are exposed to insufficient data for young children's music class and should have various research studies. Thirdly, with result of researching teachers who have had research study (41%), I check out they have 2.2 times of research study on an average. Most teachers are satisfied with research study program and instructors of research study program and audit integration program composition in content of lecture. Such an efficient class plan method of the young children's music educations institutions is what expands musical instruments, needs the authorities to be concerned with the environment side of young children's educations institutions, develops special music knowledge of teachers, and enforces various research program which concerned musical advance state of young children. Moreover this study researches music teachers, Korean classical music teachers and orff schule teachers who teach music in young children's educational institutions. Therefore, this study can not be generalized, In order to improve the young children's music educational environment, examine the whole instructors who teaches music in young children's educational institutions, compare differences, and present efficient study method of young children's educations institutions.
