유아미술교육의 발달단계별 프로그램 연구

Abstract

현대사회는 개성적인 감각으로 자신의 능력을 마음껏 발휘하며, 독창적이고 가능성이 풍부한 인간을 필요로 한다. 교육은 이러한 능력을 기르는데 가장 확실한 밑바탕인 동시에 필수적인 요소이다. 특히 미술교육은 다양한 세계를 경험하고 신체적, 정신적으로 균형 있는 발달을 이루는데 많은 도움을 준다. 또한 창의성과 심미감의 발달에 중요한 자원이 되며 잠재성과 자신감의 계발에 기틀을 마련한다. 이렇듯 중요한 가치를 지닌 미술교육이 올바르게 이루어지기 위해서는 다양한 재료와 알맞은 환경, 연령에 적합한 프로그램 등이 꾸준히 연구, 개발되어야 한다. 하지만 우리 주위의 많은 미술교육기관들은 그렇지 못한 편이다. 30～40명의 유아들이 좁은 공간 속에서 짧은 시간 내에 결과를 위한 활동을 진행할 뿐만 아니라 연령, 발달단계와는 상관없이 같은 프로그램과 지도방법을 적용함으로써 유아들에게 적절한 도움을 주지 못하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 진정한 미술교육의 의미에 대해 다시 한 번 생각해 보고 5～7세 유아에게 적합한 구체적인 미술활동 프로그램을 제시함으로써 유아로 하여금 흥미와 의욕을 가지고 바람직한 미술활동을 경험할 수 있도록 도움을 주는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 구성을 간략하게 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아미술을 이해하는데 기초가 되는 미술활동의 중요성과 유아의 미술표현 발달단계 및 표현상의 특성 등에 대한 이론적인 고찰을 행하였다. 둘째, 유아 미술의 올바른 지도방법과 방향을 알아보고 교사의 바람직한 역할과 자세에 대하여 살펴봄으로써 교사 스스로의 적합한 기준과 지침을 세우는 데 도움이 되고자 하였다. 셋째, 미술활동의 과정과 효율적인 환경 및 다양한 재료와 기법 등 프로그램 구성에 필요한 요소들에 대하여 검토하였다. 넷째, 위의 이론들을 바탕으로 각 연령의 유아들에게 알맞은 프로그램을 제안하고 연구자의 직접 수업을 통하여 얻어진 적용결과와 결론을 제시하였다.|Modern society needs human beings who display own ability to the full with individualistic sense and who are original and whose possibility is rich. Eduction is most certain base for fostering this ability and indiselement at the same time. Especially, fine art education gives much help for experiencing diverse world and making physically and mentally balanced development. In addition, it is important resource for the development of originality and sense of beauty and prepares base for the development of potentiality and confidence. Like this, for the right achievement of fine art education to have important value, diverse material, suitable environment, and program to be suitable for age etc. should be studied and developed steadily. However, our surrounding many education institutions for fine art are not so. 30-40 babies progress the activity for result within short time in narrow spece and also applying same program and guidance method regardless of age and development stage is failing to give proper help to babies. So, this study aims at giving help, so that babies may experience desirable fine art activity with interest and desire, by thinking over the meaning of true fine art education and presenting the program of concrete fine art activity to be suitable for babies of 5-7 years old. To examine the composition of this study is as follows: First, this researcher performed theoretical study for the importance of fine art activity to be base for understanding baby fine art and for the development stage of fine art expression of baby and the feature in expression etc. Second, this researcher tried to be helpful for setting own suitable standard and guide of teachers by examining right guidance method and direction of baby fine art and examining about the desirable role and attitude of teachers. Third, this researcher examined about the elements to be necessary for the composition of program such as course of fine art activity, efficient environment and diverse material and technique etc. Fourth, this researcher proposed the program to be suitable for the babies of each age on the basis of above theories and presented application result and conclusion obtained through the direct teaching of researcher.
