원격 수업에 대한 경기도 중학교 음악 교사들의 인식 조사

Abstract

본 연구는 경기도 지역의 중학교 현직 음악 교사를 대상으로 원격 수업에 대한 인식을 조사하여 원격 수업의 문제점과 요구를 분석함으로써, 음악과 원격 수업의 발전 방향을 모색하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 원격 수업을 운영하고 있는 경기도 중학교 음악 교사 16명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행했으며 전사된 자료를 바탕으로 엑셀을 이용해 분석하였다. 분석을 통한 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악 교과의 본질을 원격 수업을 통해 구현해낼 수 있도록 음악 교사들의 디지털 리터러시 역량을 증진시켜야 한다. 심화된 과정의 연수를 제공하고 음악 교사 간의 배움 공동체를 활성화시켜 음악 교사로서의 재교육이 심도 있게 이루어질 수 있도록 정책적 지원이 필요하다. 둘째, 충분한 재정적 지원을 바탕으로 교육시스템을 개선하고 양질의 원격 수업을 제공할 수 있도록 환경적 인프라를 확충해야 한다. 학교와 가정에서의 원격 수업을 위한 환경 조성은 열악한 상태로, 학생들의 면학 분위기를 조성하고 음악 교사의 수업 제작 환경 구축에 노력할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 음악과 원격 수업의 평가 방안을 다양화 및 구체화하고 운영 가이드라인이 제시되어야 한다. 공정성과 투명성을 이유로 원격 수업의 평가가 지양되고 있기 때문에 다양한 평가 방안과 명확한 평가 기준을 마련하고 보급하여야 한다. 넷째, 음악 교사의 업무 경감이 지속적으로 이루어져야 한다. 학생들은 원격 수업에서 소극적인 수업 태도와 낮은 음악적 성취도를 보여주었다. 따라서 음악 교사가 학생들과 소통하며 학습 동기를 부여하고, 음악과 원격 수업 연구에 정진할 수 있도록 지속적인 업무 경감이 이루어져야 한다.|This study aims to find the development direction for music and remote classes by analyzing the problems and needs of remote classes through investigating the perception of remote classes among current music teachers at middle schools in Gyeonggi Province. In-depth interviews were conducted with 16 music teachers at middle schools in Gyeonggi Province who are operating remote classes, and an analysis was conducted using Excel based on the transcribed data. The results of the study from the analysis are as follows. First, the digital literacy capabilities of music teachers need to improve for the essence of music class to be realized through remote classes. Policy support is needed to provide training in intense processes and activate learning communities among music teachers so that re-education as music teachers can take place in depth. Second, the environmental infrastructure needs to expand to improve the education system and provide high-quality remote classes based on sufficient financial support. The environment of remote classes at school and homes are in poor condition, thus an effort to foster a studying atmosphere for students and establish a class production environment for music teachers is needed. Third, the evaluation method for music and remote classes needs to diversify and actualized, and an operational guideline needs to be presented. The evaluation of remote classes is being rejected for reasons of fairness and transparency, thus diverse evaluation methods and clear evaluation standards need to be prepared and disseminated. Fourth, the work of music teachers needs to reduce continuously. Students showed passive class attitudes and low musical achievements in remote classes. Therefore, work reduction needs to continue for music teachers to communicate with and provide learning motivation to students, and devote their time to researching music and remote classes.
