A Study on the Effect of job satisfaction on business C66accomplishment through educational training programs of foodservice industry employees
Abstract
This study is to investigate influences of job satisfaction on business accomplishment through educational training programs of foodservice industry employees.
For this study were researched through literature investigation theoretical about foodservice industry, educational training, job satisfaction. And for actual proof investigation distributed questionnaires to employees there being an educational training experience during employees working to foodservice industry of local SeoulㆍKyung-Ki. This survey was conducted during 15days from January 10th to January 25th, 2007. Questionnaires was distributed to 300 copies, by the way results were obtained total of 290 copies. Effective data collected from 290 copies were analyzed using Spss for Window Version 13.0.
The results showed as the followings :
1. The results which executed t-test and variance analysis according to demographic characteristic in order to difference certification of job satisfaction of foodservice industry employees, in gender, men appeared higher by the job satisfaction than women(P<0.05). In ages, 36~40 years employees appeared highest by the job satisfaction(P<0.01), and in educated level, graduate school-graduated employees appeared highest by the job satisfaction(P<0.01). In income level, employees who earned over 2,500,000 appeared highest by the job satisfaction(P<0.01), and in period of working in the present company, employees who worked over 5 year were the most satisfied with the job(P<0.01). In hierarchical order, employees who over general manager appeared highest by the job satisfaction(P<0.01), and in role of job, employees who work at manager appeared highest by the job satisfaction(P<0.01). In major distribution, employees who major regarding a hotel·sightseeing were more satisfied with the job(P<0.01). In addition, item to statistically meaningful performed the multiple comparison by Scheffe ways. Therefore, turned out to difference between demographic characteristic.
2. The results which executed correlation analysis in order to difference certification of job satisfaction by an educational training ways and importance recognition degree regarding contents of foodservice industry employees, 12 items(mental education, service education, expertise education, commission education, training abroad, training camp training, lecture education, discussion education, reward study, audiovisual education, field training, culture education) all showed a statistically attentive result in an attentive level (P<0.01). The correlation of positive, will affect job satisfaction and business accomplishment of employees even it we execute any educational training. Showed relation closest correlation coefficient of job satisfaction in following order of mental education>training abroad>lecture education/culture education>service education>commission education>expertise education>audiovisual education>training camp training>field training>reward study>discussion education. The results that analyzed correlation bilateral educational training ways and a variable regarding contents of foodservice industry employees, mental education showed correlation coefficient highest with lecture education. Executed variance analysis for difference certification of educational training ways importance of foodservice industry employees and showed a statistically attentive result in an attentive level (P<0.01). Recognition regarding educational training ways importance of employees was high, and appeared by job satisfaction was high. In addition, item to statistically meaningful performed the multiple comparison by Scheffe ways. Therefore it is necessary to specialize the training system and subject by department·hierarchical order and job training shall consist of the objects getting from education to the centers.
3. The results which executed correlation analysis in order to difference certification of job satisfaction and business accomplishment of foodservice industry employees, correlation coefficient of 7 business accomplishment items and job satisfaction showed a statistically attentive result in an attentive level (P<0.01). The correlation of positive. Job satisfaction of foodservice industry employees was high and business accomplishment showed high relation. Showed relation closest correlation coefficient of job satisfaction in following order of achievement degree regarding a company goal>sense of responsibility regarding a duty>accomplishment of customer service>aptitude regarding business>business process agility>worth regarding accomplishment business>cooperation between colleague·employees. The results that analyzed bilateral correlation of business accomplishment of foodservice industry employees business process agility showed correlation coefficient highest with sense of responsibility regarding a duty. The mean scores of job satisfaction revealed as 3.5 out of 5. The results that executed T-test for difference comparison of business accomplishment along job satisfaction of employees showed a statistically attentive result in an attentive level (P<0.01). The groups where job satisfaction was high all appeared at 7 items than low groups so that business accomplishment was high. Therefore improve the morale of employees, and by increasing the satisfaction level of job, shall make so as to affect to business accomplishment.
