여성의 사회적 억압에 대한 오브제의 시각적 표현연구

Abstract

논문개요 본 논문은 본인이 2017년부터 작업한 작품에 대한 전반적인 연구 결과 보고 이다. 본인은 ‘동시대 사회 속에 살고 있는 여성’에 주목하고 작품을 통해 여성 이 현대사회에서 경험하는 강요와 억압을 표현했다. 여성과 남성은 강요와 억압의 사회 속에서 살아간다. 그러나 남성보다는 상대 적으로 여성이 더 불편함을 느낀다. 왜냐하면 억압은 갑을 관계에서도 나타나 는데 남성 보다 여성이 을에 해당하는 경우가 많기 때문이다. 갑을 관계는 가 족과 연인처럼 가까운 사람부터 먼 사람까지 또는 불특정 다수까지 나타난다. 그리고 이 관계는 힘과 권력을 가진 갑이 여성을 포함한 자신보다 약자인 을과 을의 환경까지도 조종하려 한다. 그 결과 힘을 가진 한 쪽이 강요하는 사회적 현상으로 인해 억압이 신체와 일상, 그리고 일상에서 쓰는 물건, 여성의 경우는 여성이 쓰는 여성용품에서도 드러난다. 본인은 이와 같은 사회에 여성으로 살 아가면서 불편함을 느꼈다. 본인은 강요와 억압이 갑과 을의 관계를 통해 나타 난 사회 그리고 그러한 사회에 살고 있는 여성의 상황에 주목하였다. 이러한 상황은 여성으로 살면서 겪은 개인적인 경험을 담은 작업에 등장시켜 묶여진 여성의 신체, 오브제를 피하려는 놀이, 반복적인 패턴과 색채로 표현되었다. 본 논문은 2017년에 작업한 작품들을 바탕으로 다음과 같이 구성되어 있다. 제 1장 서론에서는 본인 작품에 대한 연구 목적과 연구 방법을 서술하였다. 제 2장 본론에서는 첫째, 본인이 받은 여성의 억압을 시몬느 드 보부아르와 프리드리히 엥겔스, 발트라우트 포슈의 사회적 견해를 통해 서술하였다. 그리고 미셸 푸코가 주장하는 사회 감시망 체계의 견해를 통해 신체를 억압하는 일상 생활용품과 여성용품에 대해 서술하여 작품형성배경을 설명하였다. 둘째, 본인작품에 등장하는 묶여진 여성의 신체, 신체 위로 지나가는 텍스트, 여성용품이 등장하는 게임, 놀이와 반복적 패턴, 색채 표현을 통해 억압에 대한 시각적 표 현 방법에 대해 알아보았다. 제 3장 결론에서는 본 논문의 내용과 작품을 정리하고 앞으로 나아갈 작업의 방향을 모색하였다.|This study is to report the results on an overall research on the works that I have done since 2017. I focused on 'women living in contemporary society' and expressed the push and repression that women experience in contemporary society through my work. Women and men live in a society of coercion and repression. However, women feel more uncomfortable than men. Because repression is also manifested in 'Gab-eur' relationships and women tend to be 'eur' than men. The Gab-eur relationship appears to range from a close person to a distant person, such as a family and a lover, or to an unspecified number of persons. And this relationship is that people with power try to control weak people, including women and their environment. As a result, due to a social phenomenon that forces one side to force, repression is revealed in the body, everyday life, daily items, and women's items used by women. I felt uncomfortable living in this society as a woman. I have focused on the society in which coercion and oppression are revealed through Gab-eur relationship and noted the status of women living in such a society. I appeared my personal experience to work as a woman then I expressed the experience through the body of a bound woman, play to avoid objects, repetitive patterns and colors. In chapter 1, I introduce the research purpose and method. In chapter 2, first, I describe the repression of women I received through social and historical perspectives of women 's repression of Simone de Beauvoir, Friedrich Engels, Waltraud Posch. And I described the background of the art work by describing the objects of women 's specialty items, which express the physical oppression through the view of the social surveillance system claimed by Michel Foucault. Second, I examined the visual expression of repression through the body of the tied woman, text passing over the body, a game in which women 's items appeared, playing and repetitive patterns, color expressions in my work. In chapter 3, I summarized the study and work, and sought the direction of future work.
