여대생의 자기불일치와 대인관계문제의 관계

Abstract

본 연구는 여자 대학생의 자기불일치와 대인관계문제의 관계에서 자기침묵의 매개효과를 가정하고 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 만 19세~28세의 초기 성인기 여성 339명을 대상으로 자기불일치 질문지, 자기침묵척도, 대인관계문제 척도를 사용하여 설문을 시행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기불일치와 대인관계문제 그리고 자기침묵 간에 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 자기불일치와 대인관계문제의 관계에서 자기침묵의 매개효과를 확인한 결과, 자기침묵은 자기불일치와 대인관계문제의 관계를 부분매개 하였다. 즉, 자기불일치는 대인관계문제에 직접적인 영향을 미치기도 하였고, 자기침묵을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치기도 하였다. 본 연구는 자기불일치가 대인관계문제에 영향을 미치는 과정에서의 기제를 탐색하였고, 자기불일치로 인한 대인관계문제를 겪고 있는 사람들을 위한 상담 및 교육 프로그램의 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 기여하였다. 본 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.|ABSTRACT

The Relationships Between Self-Discrepancy and Interpersonal Problems : Mediating Effects of Self-Silencing

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of self-silencing in the relation between self-discrepancy and interpersonal problems among female university students. The participants were 339 female early-aged students. For that purpose, each participant surveyed with a questionnaire consisting of Self Questionnaire, Silencing-The-Self-Sclae(STSS), Korean version of Interpersonal problems scale. The results of the study was as follow: first, self-discrepancy had significant positive correlations with self-silencing and interpersonal problems. Also, self-silencing had positive correlation with interpersonal problems. Second, self-silencing was fully mediated between self-discrepancy and interpersonal problems. This study provides background ideas in order to develop counseling programs in the future. Finally, based on the overall findings, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
