아동기 외상과 데이트폭력 가해행동의 관계: 거부민감성과 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과

Abstract

This study investigated whether rejection sensitivity and internalized shame would mediate between childhood trauma and dating violence perpetration and if they would have sequential mediating effects between them among single men and women. For this purpose, the study surveyed 304 single men and women ages 19~29 and used childhood traumatic questionnaire, conflict tactics scales, rejection sensitivity scale, internalized shame scale to analyze data. The findings were as follows: first, there were significant positive correlations among childhood trauma, dating violence, rejection sensitivity, and internalized shame; second, the study examines whether rejection sensitivity had mediating effects on the relationship between childhood trauma and dating violence perpetration and found that it had mediating effects between them; third, the study also examines whether internalized shame would have mediating effects on the relationship between childhood trauma and dating violence perpetration and found that it had no statistically significant mediating effects between them; finally, rejection sensitivity and internalized shame had no statistically significant sequential mediating effects on the relationship between childhood trauma and dating violence perpetration. This study demonstrated the rejection sensitivity mediated between childhood trauma and dating violence and provided base data about the mechanism and path of childhood trauma leading to dating violence perpetration, thus holding its significance. The implications and limitations for future research were discussed.
