쉬르레알리즘의 미학적 특성을 표현한 바디아트 작품제작

Abstract

논 문 개 요

현대의 예술은 새로운 가치를 설정하여 새로운 탈출구를 바라는 현대인에게 잠재된 욕구불만을 해소 시킬 수 있는 상상력이 풍부한 내용을 가지고 독특한 표현과 디자인으로 계속 변화되어 더 많은 예술 사조를 만들어 내고 있다. 이러한 경향은 무의식의 세계와 꿈의 세계의 표현을 지향하였던 쉬르레알리즘의 영향력이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 쉬르레알리즘의 미학적 특성을 표현함에 있어서 기존의 고정관념을 탈피하여 바디아트에 대한 다양한 해석과 스토리를 상상할 수 있도록 하여 바디아트가 상업성을 지닌 것만이 아닌 예술의 대중성, 그리고 학문적으로 전문성을 함께 가져서 체계적으로 접근하도록 하는데 의의가 있다. 따라서 문화와 예술 분야에서 예술적 재해석이 돋보이는 쉬르레알리즘의 미학적 특성을 분석하고 이를 응용하여 바디아트의 작품을 제작하는데 목적이 있다. 쉬르레알리즘과 바디아트 이론에 대한 고찰은 국내·외의 단행본, 학위논문, 학술지, 인터넷 자료 등을 참고하였으며, 작품 제작은 이론적 배경과 선행 연구를 토대로 쉬르레알리즘의 미학적 특성을 응용한 바디 아트 작품 총 5점을 제작하였다. 본 연구는 선행 연구를 토대로 쉬르레알리즘의 미학적 특성을 우연성, 환상성, 해학성, 상징성, 관능성으로 분류하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 작품 Ⅰ은 쉬르레알리즘의 ‘우연성’을 표현한 것으로 주제는 번뇌이다. 인생의 우연성과 필연성으로 시간의 흐름 속에 공간 속에 살아가는 우리의 인생을 도형 안에 다양한 형태의 기하학적 문양과 컬러를 이용하여 환상적으로 표현하였다. 작품 Ⅱ는 쉬르레알리즘의 ‘환상성’을 표현한 것으로 주제는 현실이다. 물고기는 여러 가지 의미를 지니고 있는 것으로 특별하다. 현실과 환상의 이중성으로 내면의 세계와 외면의 세계가 분리된 것이 아니라 함께 공존하면서 연결되어 있다는 것을 환상속의 물고기를 통해 자연의 경이로움과 그에 대한 존중을 몽환적이고 신비로운 세계로 표현하였다. 작품 Ⅲ은 쉬르레알리즘의 ‘해학성’을 환상적 테마로 표현한 것으로 주제는 마음이다. 책들은 마음속의 부적이고, 따라서 하고자하는 일은 모두 영혼의 눈을 통해 이루어진다는 의미이다. 과거와 현재, 현실과 비현실 그 사이에 있는 마음의 이미지를 모두 부적에 담아 시적이고 수수께끼 같은 상형문자를 형상화하여 무의식적인 인간의 욕망을 구속 없이 자유롭게 표현하였다. 작품 Ⅳ는 쉬르레알리즘의 ‘상징성’을 표현한 것으로 주제는 생명이다. 죽음은 단순한 죽음, 끝이 아니라 새로운 생명의 시작, 창조를 상징한다는 의미이다. 죽음을 고목나무에 비유하여 앙상한 고목나무에서 시작되는 탄생, 부활, 창조의 모순적 이미지를 초현실적으로 아이러니하게 표현하였다. 이는 ‘반어적 표현의 미’ 즉 아이러니 속의 미를 지니고 있는 것이다. 작품 Ⅴ는 쉬르레알리즘의 ‘관능성’을 표현한 것으로 주제는 사랑이다. 사랑과 성을 소용돌이와 같은 것으로 비유하여 본질이 다른 남성과 여성, 음과 양의 조화로운 모습을 표현하였고, 인간 내면의 성적충동을 자극하기 위해 붉은색을 사랑과 열정의 상징으로 묘사하였고, 생동감 넘치는 곡선의 흐름을 비대칭적으로 구성하여 표현하였다.|ABSTRACT

Modern art is the imagination that can relieve potential frustration that modern man wants a new exit has a wealth of information are constantly changing in a unique design expression and creating a more artistic zeitgeist. This study is the popularity of body art is art, not only with the commercial to help in expressing the aesthetic characteristics of surrealism to break the existing stereotype imaginable variety of interpretations and stories about body art, and together academic expertise it is significant to gajyeoseo to approach systematically. So there is an artistic reinterpretation of the cultural and arts sector analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of surrealism and compelling application which aims to produce a piece of body art. Study of surrealism and body art theory of domestic and foreign book, thesis, journals, reference was an internet resource, such productions are based on a theoretical background and previous studies the application of body art aesthetic characteristics of surrealism works out of 5 it was produced. This study is based on the aesthetic characteristics of surrealism previous study contingency, fantasy, haehakseong, symbolism was classified as a sensuality. Results of thd study were as follows. Ⅰ works that are expressed 'contingency' of surrealism theme is agony. Ⅱ works as a expressed 'fantasy' of surrealism theme is real. Fish is special to have several meanings. Past and present, reality and unreality is served in both the poetic images of the heart between the talisman, the enigmatic hieroglyphs symbolizing the unconscious man's freely expressed desire without restraint. Ⅳ works as a expressed 'symbolism' of surrealism theme is life. Death is just a dead end, not the beginning of a new life, a meaning that symbolizes creation. This may have the 'beauty of ironic expression' , that is irony inside beauty . Ⅴ works as a expressed 'sensuality' of surrealism theme is love. The parable of love and sex that was swirling like to express harmonious museup of other male and female, yin and yang nature, were depicting red to stimulate the sexual urge of the human inside as a symbol of love and passion, lively curve configuration of the asymmetric flow was expressed.
