성인 초보자를 위한 플루트 교재연구 및 지도방안

Abstract

현대사회에서 대두되고 있는 성인평생교육은 사회 경제수준이 높아감에 따라 여가선용이나 자기표현, 개개인의 자아실현과 자기완성을 위하여 그 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 특히 성인을 대상으로 하는 음악교육은 인간의 정서적 안정과 창조성을 개발하여 조화된 인격을 형성하는데 큰 도움이 되고 있다. 사회음악교육 기관 중 하나인 문화센터에서는 플루트를 배우는 성인들의 증가에 따라 많은 플루트 프로그램을 개설하고 있지만 성인 플루트 교육에 대한 구체적 연구는 거의 없다. 이 연구의 목적은 문화센터에서 수강하고 있는 성인 플루트 학습자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 성인학습자의 특성 및 요구사항을 조사하고, 성인교육에 사용되는 기초 플루트 교재의 내용을 비교·평가하며, 성인 학습자의 특성에 맞는 지도방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 먼저 이론적 배경을 통해 성인교육에 의미를 재정립하고, 성인의 사회교육이 활성화 되어 있는 문화센터를 중심으로 설문조사와 교재분석을 통해 성인 초보자들의 요구 사항과 교재가 적합한지 살펴보고, 그 결과를 토대로 학습지도안을 작성하였다. 설문조사는 8개 문화센터 성인 플루트 학습자를 대상으로 실시하였으며 설문지의 내용은 학습의 동기와 목표, 학습의 형태와 방법, 학습자의 요구도와 성취도, 플루트 학습을 통해 얻은 효과 등에 대하여 다루었다. 조사 결과, 성인 학습자들은 자기주도적 학습의 경향을 가지고 있었고 플루트를 배우는 목적은 여가 선용이나 취미, 특기를 살리기 위해서였다. 플루트 학습에서는 이론 공부의 병행과 다양한 플루트 활동을 경험하기를 원하고 있으며, 배우고 싶은 레퍼토리는 교회음악이나 째즈같은 대중적인 음악을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 학습자들은 플루트 학습을 통하여 삶의 즐거움과 음악에 대한 흥미와 관심이 높아졌음을 알 수 있었다. 기초 플루트 교재연구는 문화센터 성인 초급반에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 알테 플루트 교본과 플루트 교실을 선택하여 먼저 각 교재가 전반적으로 어떻게 구성되었는지를 살펴보았다. 교재의 내용을 살펴보기 위해 기초적인 악기 다루기, 앙부쉬르와 소리내기, 연주 자세, 호흡법, 운지, 단원의 내용으로 나누어 각 교재에서 학습되고 있는 순서와 방법적인 측면에서 비교·분석하였다. 그리고 위의 교재들이 성인 초보자에게 적합한지 설문조사 결과를 바탕으로 살펴보았다. 『알테 플루트 교본』은 플루트에 대한 기초지식을 자세히 설명하였고 조성을 중심으로 단원을 학습하도록 하여 연관성과 체계성을 가지고 있었다. 『플루트 교실』은 각 단원마다 새로운 운지와 이론을 설명하고 다양한 플루트 활동을 학습하도록 한 것은 다른 교재와 다른 특징으로 연구되었다. 그러나 두 교재 모두 성인 초보자 학습에 있어서 음악 영역의 폭이 좁고 성인에게 적합하지 않는 연습곡들을 수록하고 있었다. 이러한 교재분석과 설문조사 결과를 토대로 학습지도안을 작성하였다. 학습지도안은 문화센터의 한 학기인 12주에 맞게 50분 주1회 수업으로 매시간 다른 제재곡을 수록하여 성인 초보자에게 음악에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 악기에 대해 흥미를 가질 수 있도록 지도방안을 구상하였다.|The lifelong education for adults has been emphasized for the spare time activity, self-expression, self-realization and perfection of self as the level of economy in our societies is going up. Particularly, the music education for adults helps people form their emotion and creative abilities. The culture center that is one of the music education institutions has made plenty of programs to teach the flute but the concrete study has seldom been conducted. The purpose of this study is to investigate the requirements and characteristics of adult flute learners by carrying out researches on them, comparing and evaluating the contents of the book "Beginner Flute Method" about how to learn it and to give instructions and methods to beginners. At first, in theoretical background, we are dealing with adult education as a social activity, characteristics of adult learners, musical improvement of them through social music education and actual condition of it in the culture centers. Researches were carried out on the adult flute learners in 8 culture centers and the contents of them deal with the motivation and the goal of its learning, learning method, requirement and achievement level of each learner and the effects of it. The result of that study shows that the purpose of the flute learning is to spend spare time, make it as a hobby or special talent, having self-centered tendency of learning. It also informs us that learners want to experience various flute activities, studying its theory when learning it. The favorite process that they want to get is to learn the popular music such as church music and jazz. Moreover we could find out that learners have increasing interest in music and life through the flute learning. The book "Beginner Flute Method" for the flute beginners was written after choosing the "Altes Flute Method" which was being mostly used at adult beginner's classes in culture centers and investigating how it was made of. It is divided contents into several parts such as the basic skills for handling instruments, embouchure, how to make sound with them, the performance posture, the breathing, the fingering, the contents of each unit and then to receive the comparison and analysis of them in terms of procedure and methods of those books. Moreover, we examined if those books would be suitable to the beginners on the basis of the results of researches. The "Altes Flute Method" explains the basic knowledge of this instrument and shows the obvious link and structure to make learners get what they need to get and putting great importance on scales. The "Flute class" was studied with different characteristics by explaining new fingering and theory in each unit and having learners experience various flute activities. However both of them include lots of etudes that aren't only suitable for adult learners but it also has a narrow line of music. A teaching guidance is including different kinds of etudes at 50 minutes'class a week scheduled to be completed in 12weeks and also it was planned to help people get the comprehension of music and to be interested in instruments.
