‘서른 즈음에’의 조형적 표현에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 2008년 발표한 본인의 작품 [김광석 리포트] 를 통하여 작품의 전개과정을 표현하고자 했던 주요 내용과 그 제작 방법에 관한 연구 분석한 것이다. 사회와 예술은 상호 보완적인 관계이다. 과학문명, 기계문명, 물질문명으로 상징되어지는 현대사회는 정신적 가치보다 물질적 가치를 중요시 하게 되면서 궁극적인 인간 삶의 가치 또한 변모되어 가고 있다. 또한 개인의 인격적 가치와는 상관없이 사회제도나, 사회구조의 기능성이나 합리성을 지나치게 강조하다보니 도리어 제도가 인간의 정신적 육체적인 활동을 제한하고 있다. 사회가 발전할수록 사회는 인간을 더욱 구속하게 되고 인간의 고유한 개체성을 획일화시켜 집단적 사고 성향이 커지게 됐다. 그러나 획일화된 사고 패턴은 현대인에게 오히려 일탈하고자 하는 욕망을 불러일으키고 심리적 불안과 정신혼란으로 위기의식을 가중시키게 되었다. 본인의 작품은 현대인의 일탈하고자 하는 욕망을 그 바탕에 두어 조형화 하였다. 본인의 작품에 나타나는 몽타주형식의 이미지들은 일탈의식을 표현하고자 하였다. 실제 존재했던 인물 ‘대중 가수 김광석’과 그의 노래 ‘서른 즈음에’를 통하여 일탈의 새로운 가상세계 이미지를 표현하고 그에 대한 제작과정과 내용에 대해 서술하고 어떠한 조형적 특성을 가지고 있는지 본 논고를 통해 밝히고자 한다. 또한 본인의 작품 속에서 어떻게 일탈의 이미지로 형상화 되는지 모색하였으며 음악을 통한 예술적 접근으로 인간이 느끼는 현실과 꿈, 실재와 허구 사이에서 인간의 본질을 이해하고자 하였다. 제1장 서론에서는 본고의 연구 목적과 연구 방법, 그리고 연구의 범주에 대해 서술하였다. 제2장 본론에서는 1. ‘서른 즈음에’ 대중가요를 통한 일탈이미지를 사회적, 철학적 접근을 통한 정체성의 모색과 일탈을 작품화한 [김광석 리포트] 에 대한 연구 배경으로 서술하였다. 2. 가상세계를 통한 영상작품과, 설치된 전시공간의 이론적 설명과 음악적 일탈이미지에 대한 의미와 특징들을 서술하였다. 3. 본인의 작품 [김광석 리포트]의 제작기법과 재료, 제작 의도를 연구, 분석하고자 한다. 본인은 음악적 일탈의 모색과 본인의 주된 몽타주기법을 통해 작품에 대해 더욱 깊이 통찰할 수 있는 기회가 되기를 희망하며 본인의 작품의 진행 방향을 제시하였다.|This thesis is to study and analyze main contents which tried to express the unfolding course of work and the manufacture method through my work, [Report of Kim, Kwawng Suk] announced in 2008. Society and art has mutually supplementary relation. In modern society to be symbolized as science civilization, mechanical civilization, and material civilization, value of ultimate human life is being transfigured while taking serious view of material value than mental value. In addition, while emphasizing society system or functional nature or rationality of society structure excessively regardless of individual moral value, system is limiting the mental and bodily activity of human beings. As society develops, society gets to restrict human beings all the more, and it standardizes individuality peculiar to human beings. Thus, collective thinking disposition gets to be great. But, standardized thinking pattern arouse desire to try to deviate to moderns and came to aggravate crisis consciousness with psychological uneasiness and mental confusion. My work made moderns' desire to try to deviate into molding on the basis of it. Images of montage form which appear in my work tried to express deviation consciousness. Through a person who existed really, 'popular singer, Kim, Kwang Suk' and his song 'at the time of 30 years old', I try to express new imaginary world image of deviation and describe the manufacture course and contents for it and try to clarify which plastic feature it has through this thesis. In addition, I groped how it is made into form with the image of deviation in my work and tried to understand the essence of human beings between actuality and dream and reality and falsehood that human beings feel with artistic approach through music. In the introduction of chapter 1, I described study goal, study method and study category of this thesis. In the main discourse of chapter 2, 1. I described deviation image through popular song, 'at the time of 30 years old as groping of original form nature through social and philosophical approach and as study background for [report of Kim, Kwang Suk] which was made into work. 2. I described reflection work through imaginary world, theoretical explanation of installed exhibition space, and meaning and features for musical deviation image. 3. I try to study and analyze manufacture technique, material and manufacture intention of my work, [report of Kim, Kwang Suk]. Through groping of musical deviation and my main montage technique, I hope that they will be the opportunity to be able to discern work deeply all the more, and I presented the progression direction of my work.
