생태정치학적 측면에서 본 리더십 - 동학사상을 중심으로 -

Abstract

본고는 생태 패러다임의 틀 안에서 정치의 문제를 다루는 생태정치학의 체계를 수립하고 생태정치학에 입각한 리더의 특징과 의미체계를 구축함으로써 새 시대의 요구에 부응할 수 있는 새로운 리더의 상을 정립하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 생태 패러다임은 이원론에 입각한 기존 세계관으로는 해결이 불가능했던 근대 산업문명의 여러 폐해들을 극복하고 공존의 대안적 사회를 마련하려는 모색을 시도하고 있는 총체적ㆍ통합적 패러다임이다. 정치학에서 생태 패러다임의 실현은 19C 후반 이미 동학사상을 통하여 시도된 바 있다. 존재의 본질적 문제를 다루고 생명을 중히 여기는 패러다임으로의 전환, 이론과 실천을 통합하여 현실의 장에서 그것을 구현하려 한 점은 생태정치학의 핵심인 동시에 동학사상의 목적이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 동학사상을 생태정치학이 시도된 예로 보며, 생태정치학과 동학사상을 접목시킨 리더의 상을 조망하고자 한다. 생태정치학적 리더십은 전일성, 통합성, 평등성, 자각성, 자율성 등의 다섯 가지 기본 특징을 바탕으로 거시적으로는 우주 전체를 망라하고 미시적으로는 인간 개인의 실존 문제까지도 헤아릴 수 있는 통합적 시각을 갖출 것을 강조한다. 생태정치학적 리더의 역할은 조직원과의 관계, 세계와의 관계로 구분한다. 먼저 조직원과의 관계에 있어서 리더는 조직원이 스스로의 존재의식을 자각하고 자기 효능감을 확산시킴으로써 조직에 직접 참여할 수 있도록 유도하는 역할을 해야 한다. 세계와의 관계에 있어서는 공동체 의식을 확립함으로써 세계가 하나라는 연대의식의 확산 및 공고화를 위해 노력해야 하며 궁극적으로는 에코토피아(Ecotopia)를 구현하는데 조력해야 한다.|The object of this paper shall be to construct the image of new leader who is able to meet the needs of new age and the system of eco-politics based on the eco-paradigm. The eco-paradigm is the integrative and comprehensive view of the world which be able to overcome all the problems caused by Cartesian view of the world. The realization of the paradigm had tried by "Donghak" in the latter half of the 19th century. The eco-paradigm and "Donghak" have the same view. The one is the transitional thought which treats the substance problems of all beings and respects for all life. Another is the unification of theory and practice and trying them in the field of reality. Therefore this paper is try to construct the image of new leader by the eco-paradigm and "Donghak". The eco-politician leadership has characteristic of the oneness, unification, self-consciousness and autonomy. According to these, eco-political leader plays an important role between leader and personnel, leader and world. The former role is making spontaneous participation of personnel to one's group by letting them awake their being and diffusing their self-efficancy. The latter role is helping to diffuse and consolidate the union thought means the world is the one. Ultimately the leader should help to realize the Ecotopia by realizing the very oneness of all life and letting people awake that.
