사각과 경계의 형상을 통한 내면의 표현

Abstract

이 논문은 나의 작품에서 공통적으로 나타나는 사각의 형상을 포함하여 사용된 재료와 기법들의 선택에 대한 이유를 나의 내면에서 찾고자 하는 탐색 과정과 그 결과를 서술하였다. 작품에 관한 탐색은 다수의 작품 제작을 선행한 이후, 평면의 화면에 지 속적으로 구현된 사각이란 형상에 대해 의문을 가지고, 다양한 매체를 동원 하여 그 이유와 상징하는 의미를 분석하는 과정을 통해 진행되었다. 나는 그 과정에서 얻게 되는 정보들 중 나의 정신적, 심리적 상태와 맞닿는 부분 들을 중점적으로 연구하여 작품에 담긴 내면적 의미를 보다 명확하게 정립 할 수 있었다. 그리고 기법적인 부분과 기타 시각적인 요소들, 사용된 재료 들에 대한 연구와 더불어 작품의 단계적인 변화를 정리하는 과정을 통해 앞 으로 이어질 내 작업의 방향성을 잡고자 했다. 결과적으로 이 논문은 작품에서부터 출발해 나의 내면으로 향하는 탐색의 과정이며 그 결과로 하여금 모호했던 나의 작품세계를 정립하고, 그 과정에 서 얻게 된 내면에 대한 이해를 포함하여 앞으로 어떠한 태도로 작품 활동 에 임할지에 관한 내용을 담고 있다고 정리할 수 있다.|This paper describes the process and results of searching for the reasons for the selection of materials and techniques used, including the square shape that commonly appears in my work, with inside of myself. After producing a number of works, the exploration of the work proceeded through the process of questioning the shape of a square that was continuously showed up on a flat screen and analyzing the reason and symbolic meaning by using various media. I was able to more clearly establish the inner meaning of the work by focusing on the information that were contact with my mental and psychological state. In addition by researching the technical aspects, other visual elements, and materials used, organizing step-by-step changes in my work, I tried to determine the direction of my future. As a result, this research is a process of exploration starting from the work and heading towards my inner self and make me able to clarify the ambiguous world of my work, and contain the contents of attitude I will approach my work in the future, including the understanding of my inner self gained through the process.
