브람스의 <비올라 소나타 Op.120 No.2>의 에디션 비교 분석 및 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 브람스(Johannes Brahms, 1833~1897) ≪비올라 소나타 E♭장조 Op.120, No.2≫의 에디션에 관한 연구이다. 대표적으로 많이 쓰이고 있으며 차이가 뚜렷하게 나타나는 『헨레 에디션』과 『인터내셔널 에디션』을 선정하였고, 『헨레 에디션』과 『인터내셔널 에디션』에 나타나는 연주법과 보잉 및 옥타브의 높낮이 차이, 에디션마다 중점을 두고 있는 부분과 기보된 다양한 표현 방법에 따라 달라지는 음악적 해석과 그에 따른 연주효과를 비교해보았다.

| This paper is a study on the Viola Sonata in E♭major, Op. 120 No.2 by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). The study were the editions by Henle Verlag and International Music Company which are both commomly referred to and are distinctive in character. the study compared the differences in the playing methods, bowing and the pitch of the octaves between the Henle and International editions, the parts that are emphasized by each edition and the different musical interpretations that vary by the various stated expressive methods to anticipate the playing effects.
