뵘 플루트의 구조적 발달이 현대플루트에 미친 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

기원전부터 존재하였던 플루트는 현재 독주 악기뿐만 아니라 실내악과 오케스트라에서 다양하게 연주되고 있다. 다른 목관악기들과는 다르게 리드 없이 취구에 입김을 불어넣어 공기를 진동시키는 방식으로 소리를 내는 플루트는 16세기 르네상스 시대까지 key가 없이 지공만 있는 단순한 형태에서 17세기말 이후 악기제작자인 Jacques Martin Hotteterre에 의해 1개의 key가 있는 플루트로 제작되었고, 18세기 Johann Joachim Quantz에 의해 pitch가 원활하게 조절되며 Head 와 Body 사이에 나사로 된 Tuning slide가 장착된 플루트가 제작되었다. 19세기에 Theobald Boehm에 의하여 3옥타브의 음역을 낼 수 있는 8개의 key가 달린 원추형 목관 플루트가 제작되었는데 tube의 모양을 변화시키며 tone hole을 재배열하였다. 뵘은 플루트의 짧은 관에 tone hole을 뚫어 사용했던 구조에서 발생되는 음역의 한계와 불확실한 음정, 빈약한 음량 및 운지법상의 어려움을 Key Mechanism 고안으로 해결하려 하였고 수많은 실험과 음향학적 이론에 근거하여 기존의 플루트가 가지고 있었던 문제점들을 해소한 1847년형 뵘 식 플루트가 제작됨으로 현대 플루트가 탄생하는 초석이 되었다. 본 논문에서는 뵘 이전시대의 플루트와 뵘 이후시대의 플루트에 관한 연구와 뵘 플루트의 개발로 인한 현대 플루트에 대해 연구하고자 한다.|The flute which existed from B.C.s. is played in a chamber music or a recital, an orchestra. After the close of the 17C, Flute which had one-key was made by J.M.Hotterete who was a musical instrument producer. And 18C, J.J.Quantz devised a device that adjusted pitch easily and Turning slide between head and body. Boehm changed a lot of the mechanism and acoustics of the flute. For more convenient fingering position. he had altered the key mechanism. In addition, he had rearranged tone holes for good intonation. And adopted metal and cydrical bore for more powerful tone. In 1847, he made Boehm flute that solved problems of old flutes. Boehm flute made a foundation of Modern flute. This paper study the Boehm flute which is solution of the flute' mechanism and history before Boehm and after Boehm. As a result, this paper study mechanism and history of modern flute.
