베토벤 첼로소나타 g단조 Op.5 No.2와 D장조 Op.102 No.2의 비교 분석에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 고전주의와 낭만주의의 교량역할을 한 베토벤(Ludwig van Beethoven, 1770~1827)의 5개의 첼로 소나타 중 Sonata for Piano and Cello in g minor, Op.5 No.2와 D Major, Op.102 No.2 의 두곡을 비교하여 베토벤의 시기에 따른 작품 양식의 변화를 알아보고자 한 연구이다. Op.5 No.2는 작곡 초기의 작품으로 고전주의의 특징 안에 베토벤의 개성이 나타나고 있으며 Op.102 No.2는 중기에서 후기로 넘어가는 시점의 작품으로 베토벤이 귓병으로 거의 청력을 상실한 시점이며 내면적이고 추상적인 세계로 들어가는 시점에 작곡되어 외형적으로는 고전주의의 소나타 형식 안에 대위법짜임새로 한 악장을 구성하였다. 본 논문은 서론에서 연구의 목적과 방법을 제시하고 본론은 베토벤의 생애와 18C말 유럽의 시대상황을 다룬 후 베토벤의 예술인생의 시기에 따른 음악적 양식의 변화를 다룬다. 또한 베토벤의 5개의 첼로 소나타의 특징을 작품번호에 따라 정리한다. 그리고 Sonata for Piano and Cello in g minor, Op.5 No.2와 D Major, Op.102 No.2 의 두곡의 작품 분석을 함으로 베토벤 음악의 특징인 주제의 모방, 동기의 발전 그리고 화성의 변화 등을 알아보고 피아노와 첼로의 음색에 대한 조화나 두 악기가 주의해야 할 점에 대해 생각해 본다. 마지막으로 두 작품의 공통점과 차이점을 비교 분석함으로 베토벤의 작품양식의 변화를 정리한다. 결론에서는 앞서 분석한 두 작품의 특징을 비교하여 정리하였고, 베토벤의 두 곡을 작곡 할 시기의 피아노의 발달 상황을 언급하여 현대의 피아노로 연주할 때 두 악기의 음향의 균형을 고려해 본다.|This paper is a study to compare Sonata for Piano and Cello in g minor, Op.5 No.2 and D Major, Op.102 No.2 among five cello sonatas in order to investigate variation on the genre according to the periods of Beethoven who played a bridge role between Classicism and Romanticism. Op.5 No.2, Beethoven's early work, shows Beethoven's individuality within a scope of Classicism whereas Op.102 No.2, Beethoven's middle and later work which shows his internal and abstract world in the age of hearing loss, constitutes a contrapuntal movement with a classic sonata form. This paper presents a purpose and a scheme of the study in the introduction. It also covers Beethoven's lifetime and situations at the end of the 18th Europe as the main subject and changes of music style according to his lifetime as well as. Furthermore, this thesis summarizes features of Beethoven's five cello sonatas according to opus numbers. As analysed on Sonata for Piano and Cello in g minor, Op.5 No.2 and D Major, Op.102 No.2, the paper presents an imitation of the theme and development of motives and handles with timbre of pianos and cellos and matters that require attention when those two instruments are played together. Finally, it summarizes changes of Beethoven's music style, comparing and analysing on commonalities and differences of these two works, Sonata for Piano and Cello in g minor, Op.5 No.2 and D Major, Op.102 No.2. In conclusion, this thesis deals with changes of Beethoven's music style based on characteristics of these two works.
