발레동작과 음악의 상관관계
- Abstract
- 음악과 무용은 확실히 다른 장르이지만 고대부터 음악이 있는 곳에 움직임이 있었고 움직임이 있는 곳에는 음악이 공존해 왔다.
본 논문은 그러한 움직임과 음악의 발달에서부터 지금의 발레라는 장르에 이르기까지의 역사적 배경과 이론적 배경을 정리해 보았고, 발레와 음악의 상호 작용 이라는 관점에서 현재 각 무용 수업에서 행해지고 있는 발레반주가 무엇인지의 그리고 반주자의 역할에 대하여 연구하였다.
또한 발레반주에 있어서 필수불가결한 음악적 요소를 정리하였고, 그 요소들을 바탕으로 각 동작마다의 적절한 음악적 형태들을 연구하였다.
무용의 움직임과 음악은 분리된 것이 아니고, 무용에서의 움직임에 나타나는 시간 선상에 발생하는 각 동작들이 음악에서의 박자, 악센트, 프레이즈와 조합되어 일치함으로써 무용과 음악이 하나가 되는 것이다.
| Dance and music are surely two different genres. However, since the ancient times where there was music, there were movements and where there were movements, there was music as well.
I have arranged the historical and theological background of the development of such music and movements, as well as today's so-called genre of 'ballet'. Also, I have included general description of ballet accompaniment which is practiced in studios and dance classes in the perspective of interaction between ballet and music, and also reviewed the role of an accompanist. I organized and researched the essential musical elements to ballet accompaniment and from the basis of these essential elements, the adequate musical structures to each movements.
Gestures in music and dance are not separated. Rather it becomes one through unison by mixing movements, which is generated along the timeline of the dance, and the beats, accents, phrases in music.
The role of a ballet accompanist can be concluded as following.
1. Ballet accompanists inspire dancers to perform well by stimulating the auditory sense through music; therefore, they contribute to the development of ballet techniques.
2. In ballet class, a ballet accompanist with a good knowledge and confidence in music leads the class amicably; it allows not only ordinary dancers to boost their competence, also to make a clear in combination rhythms.
3. A ballet accompanist who encounters dancers with different age groups encourages them to advance in knowledge and interest in music.
Even though music and ballet are separate genre of arts, which are based on different sense organs of hearing and sight, a joint of these creates a harmonious art; futhermore, they become a united body.
It is desirable for a ballet accompanist to have an aesthetic appreciation for ballet as well as to take priority over continuous self-development so that improvement on ballet class in both quality and quantity can be achieved
The increasing number of ballet accompanists is facing a difficulty in studying ballet accompaniment for lack of precedent materials; it is expected for this thesis to be a good help to ballet accompanists.
