미술 방과 후 학교의 창의력 신장을 위한 표현기법 연구

Abstract

아동에게 있어 미술활동은 다양한 생각과 느낌, 정서를 반영하여 나타내는 자유로운 창조표현이며 동시에 의사전달의 의미를 갖는다. 미술 안에서의 창의력은 자신의 개성을 바탕으로 자연스러운 표현 욕구에서 시작되며 남과 다른 새로운 생각과 기발한 아이디어를 찾아내는 유연한 사고와 감정을 표현해 내는 과정에서 이루어지게 되는데, 아동미술에서는 이러한 창의력 신장을 위하여 자유롭고 흥미 있는 지도방법이 모색되어야 한다. 다양한 재료의 경험과 표현기법의 활용을 통한 미술활동은 회화 위주의 미술활동에서 느꼈던 부담감과 자신감 결여에서 벗어나 스스로 탐색하고 주어진 문제를 융통성 있게 해결해 나가며 표현활동에 자신감을 갖고 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 적극성을 부여한다. 또한, 자신이 주체가 되어 참여하는 표현과정에서 아동은 자신도 모르는 사이에 폭넓게 사고하고 미술에 대한 다양한 접근으로 표현력 증대의 효과를 가져오게 된다. 본 연구는 공간적, 시간적 제약이 적은 ‘방과 후 학교’라는 범주 안에서 표현기법･다양한 재료를 활용한 흥미위주의 미술활동을 통해 아동들의 창의력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 효과적인 지도방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. 서론에서는, 미술 방과 후 학교에서의 표현기법의 필요성을 밝히고 창의성 신장을 위한 미술 표현기법을 연구방법으로 제시하였다. 본론에서는, 방과 후 학교의 이론적 배경을 살펴본 후, 미술 표현기법과 재료의 활용을 통해 아동들의 잠재되어 있는 창의성 신장을 유도하고, 다양한 표현활동 수업지도안을 제시하고 실제 적용함으로써 창의력 향상에 효과적인 표현기법 활용방안을 모색해 보았다. 결론에서는, 표현기법 활용을 통한 미술 활동이 아동들에게 흥미를 유도하여 적극적으로 표현하게 함으로써 창의성 신장에 효과적임을 확인하고, 체험을 통한 독특한 자신만의 개성표현과 사고의 개방성, 생각의 유연성을 증대시킴을 밝혔다.|As for children, art activities are free and creative expressions in which they reflect their ideas, feelings, and emotions. Originality in arts starts from the desire for free expressions based on one's personality and it is made in the process of expressing flexible thoughts and feelings that intend to find out new and unique ideas different from others. In children's arts, free and interesting teaching methods to extend originality should be sought after. Art activities through experience of various materials and use of expression techniques give children positiveness that they search, flexibly find out a solution by themselves to a given problem, and positively cope with it with self-confidence, escaping from a burden or a lack of self-confidence that they have felt in painting-centered art activities. While directly participating in expressions as the subject, children get to think extensively in spite of themselves and further to approach in various ways, which results in improvement in the power of expression. This paper intended to seek after effective teaching methods to improve children's originality through interest-oriented art activities that use expression techniques and different materials within the scope of extracurricular class that has small restriction in space and time. In the part of introduction, the necessity for expression techniques in extracurricular art class was clarified and the artistic expression techniques to extend originality were proposed as a research method. In the main text, the theoretical background of extracurricular art class was reviewed. This paper tried to find out effective ways of using expression techniques to extend originality. For this, it encouraged to extend children's originality through use of artistic expression techniques and materials, and it also proposed and applied a teaching plan for various expression activities. In the part of conclusion, this paper confirmed that art activities by use of expression techniques would arouse children's interest in arts, make children positively express their ideas and feelings, and further, be very effective to extend children's originality. It also clarified that children could express their unique personality and have openness and flexibility in their thinking through experience.
