맞춤형 학습 시스템을 위한 새로운 학습자 정보 모델 설계

Abstract

e-러닝을 통한 교육이 점차 그 범위가 넓어지면서 학습자에게 제공되는 학습콘텐츠는 다양화·대량화 되어가고 있으며, IT 환경은 언제 어디서나 인터넷에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 변화하고 있다. 다양하고 대량화된 학습컨텐츠를 학습자의 학습수준과 요구에 맞추어 제공하고, 효과적인 학습을 하기 위해서는 학습자 개인에게 적합한 학습객체를 제공하는 맞춤형 학습 시스템의 역할이 무엇보다 중요하다. 맞춤형 학습 시스템을 구현하기 위해서는 학습자 정보를 수집 및 관리하여 서로 공유할 수 있도록 지원하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 몇몇 학습자 정보 모델의 표준안들이 제안되었지만, 정보의 중복 및 형식의 불일치로 정보공유가 비효율적인 요소가 있고, 학습자가 가지는 개별 학습특성인 학습 유형 및 인지 양식 등이 구체적으로 명시되지 않은 측면도 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 학습자 정보 모델인 IEEE PAPI에 개별 학습자의 학습특성 정보를 추가하여 새로운 학습자 정보 모델을 제안한다. 이는 개별 학습자에게 적합한 학습콘텐츠를 필터링하여 제공함으로써 검색절차가 단축된다. 또한 새로 제안한 학습자 정보 모델을 이용한 맞춤형 학습 시스템은 학습자의 개별 학습특성을 고려하여 보다 적합한 맞춤형 학습 서비스를 제공함으로써 효과적으로 학습콘텐츠를 전달할 수 있다.|Various educational contents have been produced. However, learners have had difficulties in finding educational contents fit for them because of a number of unsuitable ones to them. Recently, some personalised learning systems are actively being researched through learner information already saved. There are presented models for sharing learner information as a result above. Especially, IEEE PAPI is typical example. Besides, there are some models of learner information. However, it is inefficient that sharing information because they have duplicated elements. Therefore, I intend to suggest a optimized learner information model in this study for enhancing learning effects by analysing learner information models existed. We can expect more effective learning experiences to individualized learners by offering personalised learning services that using learner information model suggested newly. Also, I want to design the ‘personalised learning system’ using learner information model suggested newly. Consequently, we can expect more effective learning experiences to learners by offering the individualized and adapted learning services to learner.
