로코코시대 복식의 트리밍을 응용한 아동 예복 디자인 연구

Abstract

복식은 한 시대의 사회, 문화를 거쳐 변화하고 발전하는 역사적 산물이며 아동복 또한 18세기 이후 성인 의복과 다른 형태로 아동들을 위한 의복으로 발전해 왔다. 현대 사회의 아동복은 낮은 출산율로 자녀에 대한 소중함과 관심의 증가로 인하여 아동들의 개성을 독특하게 연출하고 활동이 편리한 의복을 선호하는 경향이 높아지고 있으나 최근 라이센스, 직수입 브랜드의 시장 점유 확장으로 내셔널 브랜드 시장의 위기가 예상되고 있다. 행사와 연주회, 가족 모임과 파티에 착용하는 예복도 아동들만의 특별한 의복으로 중요시되어 이렇게 변화되고 있는 문화에 맞추어 아동복의 디자인과 시간과 장소에 맞는 예복의 디자인 창조가 활발히 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 역사상 복식에 장식적인 요소가 가장 풍부하고 화려했던 시기로 꼽히는 로코코 시대의 문화와 배경을 바탕으로 그 시대 복식의 미적가치와 조형성을 파악하고 장식적 요소인 트리밍 기법을 분석하였다. 연구 방법은 현대 아동복 시장 흐름과 아동문화를 파악, 예복의 중요성을 인식하고 로코코 시대 복식의 특징과 문화를 고찰하여 10가지의 트리밍을 조사하였고, 로코코 시대의 화려하고 고급스러운 이미지를 표현하기 위해 소재는 울, 실크, 타프타 등의 고급 소재를 사용하였으며 장식적인 요소가 많이 활용되지 않는 남자 아동 예복은 브레이드, 단추, 코사지, 자수, 리본의 트리밍을 응용하여 3벌의 작품을, 여러 디테일적인 요소의 활용이 많은 여자 아동 예복은 프린징, 테슬, 비드, 단추, 레이스, 리본, 아플리케, 자수의 트리밍을 응용하여 7벌의 작품을 제작하여 총 10벌의 아동 예복을 디자인, 제작하였다. 제작에 앞서 아동의 연령은 초등학교의 입학과 함께 공식적인 또래 집단생활을 시작하는 7~8세 아동으로 제한하여 사이즈 코리아(Size Korea)에 발표된 치수로 설계 하였다. 작품 제작에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. <작품Ⅰ>은 연미복을 디자인한 작품이며 로코코 시대의 남자 복식에서 보여 지는 쥐스토코르의 접어 올리는 커프스를 디자인에 활용하여 단추와 브레이드 트리밍 기법을 응용하여 디자인 하였다. <작품Ⅱ>는 로코코 시대 남성복 중에서 스탠딩 칼라가 달린 웨이스트 코트의 형태를 참고하여 디자인 하였고 <작품 Ⅲ>은 단추와 리본, 코사지의 트리밍을 응용하여 서스팬더 슬렉스를 디자인 하였다. <작품 Ⅳ>, <작품 Ⅴ>는 로브 아 라 프랑세즈의 형태를 바탕으로 하여 리본, 레이스, 프린징의 트리밍을 응용한 작품으로 실크 100% 고급 원단을 사용하여 제작하였고 <작품 Ⅵ>은 리본, 비드, 레이스, 코드를 응용하여 디자인 하였으며 <작품 Ⅶ>은 로코코 시대에서 많이 볼 수 있는 꽃을 모티브로 한 트리밍 장식을 응용하여 디자인 하였다. <작품 Ⅷ>은 리본, 레이스, 프린징 ,단추, 코드를 응용하여 둥근 칼라와 퍼프소매에 레이스를 샤링 잡아 장식하고 허리 뒷부분에 리본 트리밍을 장식하였고 <작품 Ⅸ>는 로코코 시대의 풍성한 스커트 형태를 바탕으로 황금 색상의 프린징을 레이스와 함께 장식을 하였으며 <작품 Ⅹ>은 블라우스와 스커트의 아이템으로 로코코 시대 여성복식의 슈미즈 아 라 렌느의 소매 형태를 기본으로 하여 디자인 하였고 스커트의 밑단에 레이스 트리밍으로 장식하여 제작 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 아동의 문화와 아동복 산업의 발전 방향을 예측하였고 로코코 시대 복식에 많이 사용되었던 장식적 요소인 트리밍 기법을 응용하여 아동 예복 시장에 다양한 디자인을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 디자인 제시와 함께 나아가 아동 예복 디자인 연구에 그치지 않고 판매와 대여의 마케팅 분야로도 발전하여 보다 활발한 아동복 산업을 기대해 보아야 할 것이다.|A dress is a historical result and product that has been changed and developed during the culture and social period, and children's clothing also has been urbanized for child like same as adult's clothing after the 17th century. The children's clothing also has been an increasing preference for children because it is easily to dress up and increases the interests of children during the falling birth rate. However, the market anticipates that the national brand is in crisis due to the increasing market share of the direct imports and license. The creative design of children's clothing that is suitable to the place and culture has to be actively formed because the dress in the party, events, and ceremony is important as unique clothing for only child. The research analysis the 10 technique of trimming as an essential elements and an aesthetic value based on the culture and background in Rococo period that showed the most colorful and fancy. The age of children who start to do group behaviors in the elementary school likes seven or eight years old is limited to match the size that Korea size is informed. The material was used by luxury material such as wool, silk, and naphtha to express luxury image in the Rococo period, and the cloths for man are three cloths that made by braid, button, corsage, embroidery, and ribbon. The cloths for women are six cloths that made by fringe wear, tessol, bead, lace, ribbon, applique, and embroidery, so total ten clothes are designed and made. The work Ⅰ was designed by tailcoat, and it was expressed through the technique of braid trimming and buttons that designed by cuffs that folded the justaucorps in the Rococo. The work Ⅱ was designed by the form of waist coat with standing color in Rococo period, and the work Ⅲ was designed the suspension slacks through the technique of trimming of button, ribbon, and corsage. The work Ⅳ is made by the fringing, lace, and ribbon based on the form of robe a la francaise, and it is used by 100% silk luxury material. The work Ⅴ is used by ribbon, bid, lace and coat, and the work Ⅵ is designed through the trimming decoration that well known flower in Rococo period. The work Ⅶ is designed by ribbon trimming on the back, and it is decorated with shirring and lacing on puff sleeve with rounded color that used by ribbon, lace, fringing, button, and code. The work Ⅸ is decorated the fringing of gold color with lace, and is based on the form of skirt in Rococo. The work Ⅹ is designed based on sleeve of chemise a ra reine of women cloth as item of skirt and bolusin Rococo, and decorated by lace trimming on the bottom of skirt. It makes the pattern, the works, and the design by using the technique of trimming that applied in Rococo period through the research, and continuously needs to study about the dress for children and children's clothing. Furthermore, it will develops the selling and rent in the marketing part.
