대인관계상실을 경험한 성인의 감사 성향이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 대인관계 상실을 경험한 20대, 30대 성인을 대상으로 감사 성향과 외상 후 성장 간의 관계를 적응적 인지적 정서조절과 삶의 의미가 각각 매개하는지, 나아가 두 변인이 순차적으로 매개하는지 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 대인관계 상실을 경험한 20대, 30대 성인 361명을 대상으로 감사 성향, 외상 후 성장, 적응적 인지적 정서조절, 삶의 의미의 척도를 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감사 성향, 외상 후 성장, 적응적 인지적 정서조절, 삶의 의미는 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감사 성향과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 직접 효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 감사 성향과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 감사 성향과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 삶의 의미의 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 감사 성향과 외상 후 성장의 관계에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절과 삶의 의미의 순차매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 감사 성향으로부터 외상 후 성장을 경험하게 되는 기제와 경로에 대한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이는 상담 장면에서 대인관계 상실을 경험한 사람들로 하여금 외상 후 성장을 이룰 수 있게 하기 위해서 적응적 인지적 정서조절과 삶의 의미에 개입할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다.|The purpose of this study is to verify whether adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies and life meaning have a sequential mediating effect in the grateful disposition and post-traumatic growth for adults in their 20s and 30s who have experienced loss of interpersonal relationships. For this purpose, data were analyzed using grateful disposition scales, post-traumatic growth scales, adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategy scales, and life meaning scales for 361 adults in their 20s and 30s. The main results as follows. First, grateful disposition, post-traumatic growth, adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies, and life meaning were all found to be significant positive correlations. Second, In the mediating model of the grateful disposition and post-traumatic growth, the direct effect was found to be not statistically significant. Third, the mediating effect of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies was statistically significant in the relationship between the grateful disposition and post-traumatic growth. Fourth, the mediating effect of the meaning of life was statistically significant in the relationship between the grateful disposition and post-traumatic growth. Fifth, the sequential mediating effect of adaptive cognitive emotional regulation strategies and life meaning was statistically significant in the relationship between the grateful disposition and post-traumatic growth. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic data on the mechanism and path of experiencing post-traumatic growth from the grateful disposition. These results suggest that there is a need to intervene in adaptive cognitive and emotional regulation strategies and meaning of life in order to enable people who have experienced interpersonal loss in the counseling scene to achieve post-traumatic growth.
