노인 대상 음악치료의 국내 석사학위논문 연구동향 분석(1998-2009년)

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 1998년부터 2009년까지의 국내에서 발표된 노인 대상 음악치료 석사학위 논문의 내용을 분석하고 정리하여 국내 노인 음악치료 연구 동향을 알아보는데 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 분석 대상 논문들을 연도별로 연구 유형, 연구 대상, 연구 목적, 전공 분야별로 구분하여 조사하고 정리하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 1998년부터 2009년까지의 연도별 국내 노인 음악치료 석사학위 논문의 빈도를 보면 지속적으로 조금씩 증가되는 경향을 보였으며 최근 2008년에 연구 빈도가 가장 높았던 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구의 유형에 있어서는 실험연구의 비중이 가장 높았고 질적인 연구도 꾸준히 시도되었다. 양적·질적인 두 가지 연구법을 병행하는 연구의 증가는 음악치료 접근의 특수성에 의한 다양성을 잘 나타내주고 있다고 하겠다. 셋째, 연구의 대상에 있어서는 신경질환 대상자의 비율이 가장 많았고 다음으로 일반 노인에 대한 연구 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 신경질환 대상자 중 특히 치매노인의 비율이 가장 높았다. 넷째, 연구의 목적영역에 있어서는 6가지 분류 항목 중 정서영역 연구의 비율이 가장 높았고, 다음으로 인지영역의 연구가 높았다. 목적 영역에 따른 측정도구 또한 정서 측정 심리적 도구들의 사용이 가장 높았다. 다섯째, 연구의 전공분야에 있어서는 음악치료 전공이 관련분야 보다 약 2배의 연구 성과를 나타내었다. 측정 도구에 있어서 음악치료 전공분야는 다양하였으나 관련분야에서는 심리적 도구에만 편중되어 있었다. 결과에 따르면 국내 노인대상 음악치료 연구 동향은 획일적이고 편중적인 것으로 나타났으며 이는 음악치료 전반 및 국외 노인 음악치료 선행 논문 분석 연구들의 동향과도 일치되는 결과이다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 노인 대상의 국내 석사학위 논문 분석 결과를 통하여 노인 대상 음악치료의 연구 방법과 연구대상, 연구목적, 측정 도구 사용의 방향성에 도움을 줄 것이다.|The purpose of this research is to analyze and organize the contents of master's thesis about music therapy for the elderly that were presented in Korea from 1998 through 2009 and thereby examine the tendency of the researches on music therapy for the elderly in Korea. Hereupon this researcher classified the papers that were the subjects of the analysis by the year and also by the research type, research subject, research purpose and major. The result of this research is as follows. First, the frequency of master's thesis about music therapy for the elderly in Korea classified by the year from 1998 through 2009 increased little by little constantly and in the recent 2008 the frequency of research was the highest. Second, the weight of experiment research was the highest in the research type and qualitative researches were steadily attempted. The increase of researches that performed the two research methods that were quantitative and qualitative respectively showed the diversity by the specialty of music therapy approach. Third, among the subjects of researches the ratio of subjects with a nervous disease was the highest and the frequency of researches about the general elderly followed. Especially the ratio of the elderly with dementia was the highest. Fourth, in the area of purpose of the research the ratio of researches on the emotional area was the highest among 6 classification items and the next was the researches on the cognitive area. In addition the use of psychological tools that measure emotions as the measuring tools according to the purpose area was the highest. Fifth, the majors in music therapy showed twice of research achievements than the related fields. About the measuring tools of the majors of music therapy were diverse but in the related fields those were concentrated only on psychological tools. According to the result the tendency of researches on music therapy for the elderly in Korea was uniform and disproportionate and this coincides with the tendency of the general music therapy and of the researches that analyzed the preceding papers of music therapy for the elderly in foreign countries. This research will be helpful for the research methods, research subject, research purpose and the direction of the use of measuring tools through the results of analysis of Korean master's thesis with the elderly as the subjects like the above researches.
