노래 중심 집단음악치료가 초등교사의 스트레스와 소진에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 노래 중심 집단음악치료가 초등교사의 스트레스 반응과 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구 대상은 경기도 소재 P 초등학교 교사 20명을 편의표집 방법으로 모집하여, 실험집단과 통제-대기 집단에 각 10명씩 무선 배치하였다. 본 연구는 가창, 음악 감상, 가사토의, 가사 바꾸기, 즉흥연주, 노래 만들기 활동으로 구성되었으며, 2023년 3월 22일부터 2023년 6월 7일까지 주 1회, 60분씩 총 10회기 진행되었다. 연구에 참여한 교사의 스트레스와 소진의 변화를 측정하기 위해 스트레스 반응 척도(The Stress Response Inventory, SRI)와 심리적 소진 척도(Teacher Burnout Inventory, TBI)를 사용하여 데이터 수집하였다. 각 집단의 스트레스와 소진의 사전-사후 점수 변화와 점수 비교를 위해 실험 전 사전검사를 실시하였고, 실험 후 동일한 방법으로 사후검사를 실시하여, SPSS 29.0 통계 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 실험집단과 통제-대기집단의 동질성 검증과 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였는지 검증하기 위해 Mann-whitney U 검정, 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전과 사후의 차이에 대한 변화 추이를 알아보기 위해 대응표본 부호순위 검정(Wilcoxon signed ranks test)을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노래 중심 집단음악치료에 참여한 실험집단은 집단 간 스트레스 반응 점수 사전 사후 비교에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이며 감소하였다(p=.017). 둘째, 노래 중심 집단음악치료에 참여한 실험집단은 집단 간 심리적 소진 점수 사전 사후 비교에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이며 감소하였다(p=<.010). 이는 노래 중심 집단음악치료가 초등교사의 스트레스 반응과 심리적 소진 감소에 효과적인 중재방안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.|The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of song-focused group music therapy on elementary school teachers' stress response and psychological burnout. The subjects of the study were 20 teachers from P Elementary School in Gyeonggi-do, recruited through convenience sampling, and 10 each were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control-waiting group. This study consisted of singing, music appreciation, discussing lyrics, changing lyrics, improvisation, and therapeutic song-writing activities, and was conducted once a week for 60 minutes from March 22, 2023 to June 7, 2023 for a total of ten sessions. To measure changes in stress and burnout of teachers who participated in the study, data were collected using the Stress Response Inventory (SRI) and the Teacher Burnout Inventory (TBI). A pre-test was conducted before the experiment to compare the change in pre-post scores of each group and the pre-post scores of the experimental group and the control-waiting group. After the experiment, a post-test was conducted using the same method and analyzed using the SPSS 29.0 statistical program. Mann-whitney U test was conducted to verify the homogeneity of the experimental group and the control-waiting group and to verify whether the experimental group showed a statistically significant effect compared to the control group. A paired-samples signed rank test (Wilcoxon signed ranks test) conducted to find out the trend of changes in the difference between before and after the experimental group and the control-waiting group. The results of analysis of this study are as follows. First, the experimental group that participated in song-focused group music therapy had a statistically significant decrease in the pre-post comparison of stress response scores between groups (p=.017). Second, he experimental group that participated in song-focused group music therapy had a statistically significant decrease in the pre-post comparison of psychological burnout score s between groups (p=<.010). These result suggest that group music therapy can be effective intervention for reducing the stress responce and psychological burnout of elementary school teachers.
