꽃의 이미지를 應用한 陶磁 壁裝飾 硏究

Abstract

자연과 인간의 교감은 문명이 시작되면서 부터 필연적인 관계를 갖게 되었다. 그 교감은 예술로서 승화되기도 하고, 자연의 아름다움은 예술적 미감을 낳게 하는 모태가 되었기에 자연을 대상으로 한 예술적 표현은 지금까지 다양하게 전개되었다. 그 중 꽃은 고금을 막론하고 인간으로 하여금 심취하여 예술표현의 좋은 소재로 등장되곤 하였다. 외형적인 아름다움 뿐 아니라, 종교적 입장이나 삶을 통하여 형성된 정서와 정신적 가치가 꽃과 서로 소통하였을 때, 생기는 상징적 의미를 더욱 소중하게 생각하였기에 우리 선조들은 건축물이나 공예품, 그리고 의복이나 장신구 등에 꽃을 더욱 아름답게 표현해 왔음을 알 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 꽃과 인간의 삶의 의지‧정서를 교호하여준 선조들의 꽃에 관한 심상을 전통 예술품 안에서 보이는 다양한 꽃문양을 통하여 연구하고, 현 시대를 살아가는 인간의 정서와 교감할 수 있는 꽃에 대한 미의식을 조형적으로 표현하고자 하였다. 또한 현대의 주거문화와 자연의 상호 아름다운 부분의 요소를 모색하고 자연의 일부인 꽃을 생활공간으로 끌어냄으로써, 현대인의 미적 사유로 공감할 수 있는 도자 벽장식으로 제작하고자 하였다. 제작방법으로는 일품 공예적 의미와 양산을 고려하여 석고틀에 의한 이장주입기법, 가압기법으로 성형하였다. 1차 소성은 850℃에서 하였고, 유약은 생유(투명유, 청자유)와 착색 산화물이 첨가된 유약(코발트유, 철유, 오트밀유), Duncan사의 고화도 유약을 사용하였으며 2차 소성은 1250℃에서 소성하였다. 또한 중‧저화도 유약을 시유한 기물은 1030℃에서, 수금장식이나 전사장식을 한 기물은 800℃에서 3차 소성을 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 꽃의 아름다움에 대한 심상을 현대적 시각으로 재구성하여 현대인의 정서에 부합하는 도자 벽장식을 제작함은 도식화된 환경과 순수한 자연의 교량적 역할을 제시하고, 주거공간을 보다 아름답게 만들 것을 기대한다. |Sympathize of nature and human had inevitable relationship since the beginning of mankind. This sympathy sublimated as the art. The artistic presentation of nature had been develop variously when the beauty of nature has become the matrix for artistic sense of beauty. Among the others, the flower had become an artistic expression and interest of human of all ages. We can find out that our ancestors expressed the flower on their crafted products and clothes or accessories because they thought the symbolic meaning which developed through moral value and emotion formed with religious life was more important than just external beauty. Our purpose of this research is to study the ancestors' image of flower which alternated flower and human's will of living and emotion trough various pattern of flower in traditional crafted product and express formatively the flower that sympathize with human's emotion. We also tried to manufacture as ceramic mural decoration which can be sympathize with aesthetic speculation of modern. This needed to bring out the flower which is part of nature to living space and grope the modern living culture and nature's element of beautiful part. In the manufacturing process, we used the china clay as and particle of ceramic and either slip casting or pressure techniques from plaster mold for mass production. We had first firing at 850℃ and use cobalt glaze, celadon glaze, and enamel with high definition from Duncan to express various color of flower. We had second firing at 1250℃. We also fired works that used enamel with low and medium definition at 1030℃, For last, we had third firing at 1030℃ for works that used gold glazes decoration and over-glazes decoration. For manufacturing the ceramic mural decoration that coincided with emotion of people today by revaluating the image for the beauty of flower to modern visuals in this research, we can expect it to connect schematized environment with innocent nature. It will also make our living space more beautiful.
