그릿(Grit), 정서조절양식, 삶의 의미에 따른 군집별 주관적 안녕감의 차이

Abstract

본 연구는 한국 성인 남녀를 대상으로 그릿, 정서조절양식, 삶의 의미에 따른 군집유형을 파악하고, 이들의 유형 간에 주관적 안녕감의 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 성인 남녀 411명을 대상으로 그릿 척도, 정서조절양식 척도, 삶의 의미 척도, 삶의 만족도 척도, 정적 및 부적 정서 척도를 사용하여 설문을 시행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 세 가지 군집측정치에 따라 4개의 군집유형이 도출되었다. 군집 1은 그릿의 두 하위 요인과 능동적, 지지추구적 정서조절양식, 삶의 의미의 하위 요인들이 모두 평균 이상의 수준으로 나타난 ‘높은 그릿-적극적 정서조절-높은 삶의 의미 유형’, 군집 2는 노력의 꾸준함, 세 가지 정서조절양식 모두 평균 이상, 삶의 의미의 수준은 평균 수준인 ‘노력추구-다양한 정서조절-평균적 삶의 의미 유형’, 군집 3은 지지추구적, 회피/분산적 정서조절양식을 제외한 모든 하위 요인의 수준이 평균보다 낮게 나온‘낮은 그릿-소극적 정서조절-낮은 삶의 의미 유형’, 군집 4는 흥미의 지속성의 수준을 제외한 나머지 하위 요인들이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타난‘흥 =미추구-미숙한 정서조절-가장 낮은 삶의 의미 유형’으로 구분할 수 있었다. 둘째, 각 군집 별 주관적 안녕감의 차이를 확인한 결과, 군집1과 군집2는 다른 집단에 비해 높은 삶의 만족도와 정적 정서를 보였으며, 군집 3과 군집 4 순으로 유의하게 낮았다. 부적 정서에서는 군집 1과 군집 4가 군집 2와 군집 3보다 유의하게 높은 수준을 보였다. 이와 같은 결과는 그릿, 정서조절양식, 삶의 의미의 군집유형에 따라 주관적 안녕감의 차이가 나타나므로, 각 군집에 맞춰 차별적인 상담개입이 필요함을 시사한다. |This study aims to identify cluster types in Korean adults categorized by grit, emotional regulation, and meaning in life, and to examine the differences in subjective well-being among these types in terms of life satisfaction, positive/negative affects. 411 adults answered the questionnaire designed with 5 scales: the grit, emotion regulation, meaning in life, life satisfaction, and PANAS. The results of this study are as follow. First, four clusters were derived from three cluster measurements and each cluster has different qualities: Cluster 1 is ‘High grit-Active emotion regulation-High meaning type in life', in which the two sub-factors of grit, active and supportive emotional regulation, and the sub-factors of life meaning are all above the average level. Cluster 2 is ‘Effort pursuing-Various emotional regulation-Mean level of meaning in life’, in which the perseverance of effort and the three modes of emotion regulation were above the average, while the level of meaning in life was just the average. Cluster 3 is ‘Low grit-Passive emotion regulation-Low meaning type in life’, in which All sub-factors are below the average, except for supportive, avoidant/distractive emotional regulation. Cluster 4 is ‘Interests pursuing-Immature emotional regulation-The lowest type of type of meaning in life’, in which the other sub-factors are the lowest except the level of persistence of interest. Second, subjective well-being level in each group differs in terms of life satisfaction and positive affect: cluster 1 and group 2 show the higher level than the other groups, followed by cluster 3, and cluster 4 in order with some significant differences. Also, cluster 1 and cluster 4 show the higher negative affect than cluster 2 and cluster 3 with significance. These results suggest that there is a difference in subjective well-being according to the cluster type of grit, emotion regulation, and meaning in life, and therefore, it is necessary to differentiate counseling intervention according to each cluster.
