국악에서 피아노 반주의 중요성 연구

Abstract

19세기 말 본격적으로 도입되기 시작한 서양 음악과 서양 악기들은 이제 우리 정서나 문화와 잘 융합하여 한국의 음악 문화에서 매우 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있다. 그래서 현재 한국 음악상황은 한국의 전통 음악인 국악보다 서양음악이 대중화 되어 있다. 특히 피아노는 서양음악의 보급과 전파에 큰 영활을 담당하는 한국의 음악 활동에서는 매우 중요한 악기로서 자리매김하고 있다. 국악의 연주, 반주, 작곡에도 충분히 활용되고 있다. 이 논문 에서는 국악에서 활용되는 피아노의 중요성을 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 한국 대표 민요인 <경기 아리랑>을 택하여 그 특징을 알아보고, 정간보를 통하여 전통적인 장구장단의 반주와 가사붙임등을 구체적으로 제시함으로써 피아노 반주로 활용할 수 있는 토대를 구축하였다. 세마치 장단, 중모리 장단, 중중모리 장단의 반주가 여기에 소개되었다. 더 나아가 이와 연관된 피아노 반주를 살피고 <경기 아리랑>을 다양하고 피아노곡으로 재창작한 예들을 제시함으로써 단순한 선율적 음악보다 화성적 음악을 선호하는 대다수의 현대인들의 취향에 맞는 새로운 위상의 민요가 피아노를 통해 구현될 수 있음을 증명하였다.|The western music and instruments which started to be introduced into Korea since the early 20th century now take the important part in the musical culture of Korea. Therefore, the current music situation in Korea is that western music is more established in Korean mass culture than Gukak (Traditional Korean Music). Historically speaking, the western-style military band was first established after Gabogyungjang, and the western music was first taught as a subject in education. After liberation, a national center for music and a western-style concert stage (Wongaksa) were established and Gyungsung Broadcasting was founded. This was a period for reformation of our music culture. Afterwards, western-style vocal music (national anthem, study-motivating song, independence song, etc) was composed and symphony, interior music, creative traditional music, etc were produced, confirming the fact that acknowledging and accepting western music are crucial for development of music culture in Korea. When the western music and instruments are fused and developed in Korea, piano, more than any other instruments, has become the essential component of our culture. Even in the traditional music, piano is used in all areas including performance, accompaniment, composing, etc, and this paper aims to examine the importance of piano in the traditional music and identify the effect of inserting the piano accompaniment in Gyungi Arirang, Korean representative folksong. Modern people nowadays are more accustomed to luxurious and harmonious music than melodically simpler music which has a lot of margin, and they prefer the music with a high quality effect achieved through various forms and rhythms of piano accompaniment to simple accompaniment by janggu. Therefore, it can be seen that piano is very important in new musical attempt in Korean traditional music to create various and splendid songs. After western music has become popular in Korea, the piano has become the essential instrument for the musicians in Korea. Therefore, this study aims to identify the role and importance of piano in Korean traditional music by examining the positive effect of piano accompaniment in Gyungi Arirang, the representative folksong in Korea.
