乖崖 金守溫의 文學意識과 詩世界

Abstract

본 논문은 乖崖 金守溫(1409~1481)의 詩文學的 價値를 糾明하기 위하여, 生涯와 時代的 背景, 學問世界와 文學意識, 詩世界, 文學史的 意義의 순서로 연구를 진행하였다. 生涯와 時代的 背景에서는 乖崖의 개성적인 시세계가 형성될 수 있었던 문학적 배경을 조명하였다. 생애에서는 家系와 成長背景을 통해 그의 儒佛調和思想이 형성되었음을 이해하였고, 시대적 배경에서는 당시 문단의 흐름을 살펴 조선전기에 요청되었던 文學의 특성을 살펴보았다. 學問世界와 文學意識에서는 그 유기적 관계를 밝힘으로써, 괴애의 주체적인 문학세계를 살펴보았다. 그는 朱子學을 근본으로 하면서도 佛家의 道를 겸비하여 폭넓은 학문세계를 구축하였다. 이러한 학문세계를 바탕으로, 文學意識에서는 當代의 儒家的 文風과 佛敎의 特性을 調和하여 文彩를 풍부하게 만든 그의 문학적 특성을 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 詩世界에서는 形式과 內容의 특성을 체계적으?? 살펴봄으로써 괴애 시세계의 총체적 특성을 검토하였다. 형식상 특성에서는, 하나의 형식에 얽매이지 않는 그의 다양한 詩型과 押韻의 유형, 그리고 近體詩의 형식에 구애받지 않고 자연스럽고 유창하게 표현된 疊韻과 對偶의 특성을 살펴보았다. 내용상 분류에서는 儒家的 삶의 追求, 儒佛思想의 調和, 旅情의 感慨, 山水에서의 興趣로 大別하여 살펴보았다. 첫째, 儒家的 삶의 追求에서는 관각문인으로서 大義名分에 충실하고자 노력했던 그의 삶의 모습을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 儒佛思想의 調和에서는 儒家들의 비판을 받는 현실적 갈등 속에서도, 그의 내면에 자리잡고 있는 儒佛調和의 世界를 살필 수 있었다. 셋째, 旅情의 感慨에서는 나그네로서의 감회를 통해 그의 여정의 흥취를 이해하였고, 더불어 소박하고 인정미 넘치는 작가의 모습을 발견할 수 있었다. 넷째, 山水에서의 興趣에서는 자연 속에서 느껴지는 서정적 감성에 젖어, 物我一體의 경지에 이르는 그의 청정한 시세계를 이해하였다. 집현전 출신 문인으로서 開國編纂事業에 적극 참여했던 괴애 김수온은, 당시의 절대적 이념이었던 儒學에 佛敎를 접목시킴으로써, 나름대로의 독창적 학문세계를 구축하였고, 이를 바탕으로 개성적인 詩世界를 이룩하였다.|To identify the literary value of Gae-ae(乖崖) Kim Su-on(金守溫)(1409~1481)'s poems, this study examined his life, a custom respecting literature at that time, his academic world(學問世界), Literary Consciousness (文學意識)and poetry(詩世界), and the significance of his work in literary history in order(文學史的 意義). Looking into his life and a custom respecting literature, this study illuminated the literary background enabling Gae-ae's poems to be created. This study tried to understand how his ideas harmonizing Confucianism and Buddhism(儒·佛調和思想) could formed, observing his life. Reviewing literary trends of the times, this study found out literary characteristics required in the early Chosun Dynasty(朝鮮王朝前期). Regarding his academic world and literary consciousness, this study examined Gae-ae's own literary world by identifying organic relationship between the two. Gae-ae established a broad academic world combining Buddhism and Confucianism based on Zhu xi's ethics(朱子學). In relation to literary consciousness, this study looked into his literary consciousness formed based on his academic world. Concerning his poetry, overall characteristics of Gae-ae's poems were examined by dividing formal characteristics and content. Regarding formal characteristics, his poems showed various verse forms and rhyme forms which are free from form. It is noteworthy that he freely used rhymes and antitheses within the rules of poems. This study looked into the content of his poems by dividing the themes into four: pursuing Confucian life, conflicts in real life, traveler's deep emotions, and a charm of nature. First, this study found out his virile mind as a Confucian scholar regarding pursuing Confucian life. Second, in relation to conflicts in real life, this study noticed that his mine was troubled by criticism though he appeared not to care about it. Third, his world as a traveler could be understood through traveler's deep emotions. He also showed simple and kind aspects. Fourth, concerning a charm of nature, his sensible poetry could be seen though poems full of lyric emotions. Considering the results of this study, this study found out that Gae-ae expressed the spirit and will as a Confucian scholar by creating literary works based on Sung Confucianism which was the absolute philosophy of the time. However, he also added Buddhist colors to his works, enriching them. He established a poetic world covering thinking and emotions by expression his true emotions through poems.
