SergeiProkofiev의 PIANO SONATA No.3 Op.28 연구

Abstract

세르게이 프로코피에프 (Sergei Prokofiev, 1891~1953)는 20세기의 러시아 음악을 대표하는 작곡가일 뿐만 아니라 뛰어난 피아니스트로, 오페라와 관현악, 실내악 등 다양한 장르에서 많은 작품들을 남겼다. 프로코피에프는 고전적인 양식위에 서정적인 선율과 혁신적인 면을 통해 자신만의 음악세계를 추구하였으며 특히 19세기의 피아노 음악 전통을 계승하는 데 그치지 않고 피아노라는 표현수단을 통하여 야성적인 다이나믹함을 더해 프로코피에프만의 음악적 특성을 독창성 있게 만들어 피아노 음악의 새로운 시대를 열었다. 현대음악는 생각은 사람들에게 익숙하지 않은 음악일 것이라는 생각에 그냥 지나쳐 버리려는 경우가 많은 것이 사실이다. 이러한 점에서 본 논문은 프로코피에프의 9개의 피아노 소나타 중에서도 연주자들에게 비교적 친숙하게 느껴지고 가장 많이 선택되는 곡이라 할 수 있는 <소나타 제3번 (Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3)>을 주제로 연구되었다. 프로코피에프의<소나타 제3번 (Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3)>은 초기작품으로 불같은 열정과 화려한 악절, 그리고 아름다운 서정성 등을 담고 있는 작품으로 기존의 소나타가 여러 악장으로 구성된 점을 탈피하여 단악장의 형태로 쓰여 졌다. 작곡가는 여러 개의 주제를 제시부, 발전부, 재현부에서 사용하여 그 나름의 참신한 언어와 방식으로 되풀이하고 -항상 변화하여 되풀이됨- 전개해 나감으로 여러 음악적 내용들을 단악장(a single movement)속에 압축하여 간결하게 표현하였다. 본고의 서론에서는 연구의 목적과 방법론을 제시하였으며 본론에서는 프로코피에프가 활동했던 20세기 전반에 걸친 러시아 음악과 그가 평생 동안 쓴 피아노 소나타9곡의 전반적인 특징을 조명해 보았다. 그리고 <소나타 제3번 (Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3)>의 주제선율, 짜임 등이 어떻게 작용하여 구성되어 있는가를 세분화하여 분석하였으며, 동시에 리듬, 화성, 다이나믹스의 역활도 분석하였다. 그리고 어디까지나 연주자의 입장과 관점에서 본 논문은 전개되었음을 밝혀둔다.|Sergei Prokofiev(1891~1953), a composer and pianist, wrote many masterpieces in the field of opera, orchestra, and chamber music. All thoes works are representing the literature oh the 20'th-century Russian music. Prokofiev mixed delineated melody with classical surroundings and pursued his own revolutionary music world. Expecially, arriving in the 20'th century, he didn't stop from only inheriting traditional piano music, but used the piano as an artistic presentation to express his own special music including wild and dynamic piano harmony, opening a new era of piano music. It is a fact that many people find modern music unfamiliar and just pass it by. For this reason, this paper has selected a rather familiar piece for performers to study and analyze called Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3. Prokofiev's Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3 is one of his first pieces made up with passion like fire, magnificent passages, and with beautiful delineation, emerging from the traditional sonatas, which were consisted of many passages, and turned them into a single movement. Using his own special language and method, giving slight changes, the composer repeatedly put several themes into the exposition, development, and recapitulation, and compressed the contents into a single movement. The introduction of this paper presents the purpose and method for this study while the text is consisted of the features of 20'th century Russian music, taking a look at the early, middle, and latter period features of his 9 sonatas, which he spent his whole life making. Analyzing the Piano Sonata Op.28 No.3 is based on form and melody, rhythmic harmony, and dynamics. And would like to note that this paper was completely at a standpoint and viewpoint of those who perform as performers.
