Manuel de Falla의 가곡 Siete Canciones Populares Espanolas(일곱편의 스페인 민요)에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 19세기 말부터 20세기 초까지 활동했던 스페인의 대표적 작곡가 마누엘 데 파야(Manuel de Falla, 1876-1946)의 작품 <일곱편의 스페인 민요(Siete Canciones Populares Españolas)>에 대하여 연구한 것이다. 스페인 민속 음악은 이베리아 반도에 정착했었던 비잔틴, 이슬람, 집시 문명의 영향으로 그 다양함을 자랑한다. 파야는 이러한 스페인 민속 음악 유산을 수집하고 연구하는데 노력을 기울였으며, 근대 스페인 음악 발전에 지대한 공헌을 한 민족주의 작곡가이다. 파야의 대표적 가곡중 하나인 <일곱편의 스페인 민요>는 이러한 스페인 각 지방의 민요를 소재로 하여 작곡되었기 때문에 스페인의 음악적 바탕인 고유선율의 특징이 잘 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있고 그에 따른 피아노 반주는 현대적 기법으로 응용되어져 전통과 현대의 조화가 잘 이루어진 작품이다. 그중 제 1곡 <모로인의 천>과 제 2곡 <무르시아 민요>, 제 4곡 <호따>는 부가화음과 불협화음 및 비화성음의 독특한 사용으로 드뷔시(Claude Debussy, 1862-1918)의 기법을 연상하게 하며, 제 6곡 <노래>에서는 선율과 피아노 반주부 사이에 복조가 나타나며, 제 7곡 <뽈로>에서는 밀집된 화음층이 만들어 내는 타악기적 기법이 나타난다. 이러한 기법들은 전통적 선율을 전혀 방해하지 않으며 오히려 세련된 음악적 상황을 만들어 내며 고유 선율을 살리고 있다. 가곡 <일곱편의 스페인 민요>는 고전적 스페인 음악모델을 보다 현대적인 기법과 결합하는데 성공한 작품으로서 그 예술적 가치가 높은 작품이라 하겠다. 그러므로 본 논문은 스페인의 민속적 선율과 선법 및 현대적 음악 기법에 의한 피아노 반주부와의 조화에 대한 고찰을 통하여 현대가곡의 특성과 파야의 가곡의 특성을 앎으로써 이곡을 성악적으로 표현하는데 그 이해를 돕고자 한다.|The dissertation is about the work <Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, 1914> of the composer of Spain (Manuel de Falla) which is active in 20 century candles to research. The folk music of Spain is proud with the variety effected by Islam and gipsy civilization fixed at Peninsula Iveria. Falla made an effort which it collects and researches such Spain folk music miscarriages, and is a composer who contributed so much in modern time Spain music development. One of the representative song of Falla <Siete Canciones Populares Españolas> shows a possibility of knowing the feature of the specific melody which music character of Spain because of the subject matter is composed the folk song of like this Spain each region well and the piano accompaniment which it follows comes to be applied with modern technique and it is a work where the artificial flower of tradition and today becomes accomplished well. The first music <El paño moruno> and the second and the fourth do to associate the technique of Claude Debussy with the use which addition chord and dissonance and unique non-harminic tones, from music the sixth appears B-tonality between melody and piano accompaniment, the chord layer which crowds makes from the seventh music and the other musical instrument technique which it puts out appears. The song <Siete Canciones Populares Españolas> is the successful music which it combines the Spainish classical model with more modern techniques. So it is like to help who be interest in songs of Falla and modern songs to understand, with this dissertation it leads investigation against the contributation of custom Spainish melody and the piano due to the modern music techeniques.
