L.Minkus의 Don-Quixote음악을 응용한 발레클래스 반주법 연구

Abstract

학문에 있어서 무용예술은 공연예술의 특질적 성격으로 인하여 그동안 무용학 연구에 대한 무용가들의 의식이 약간은 소홀히 한 경향이 없지 않았으나 현재는 10여개의 학회지를 비롯하여 무용학에서 여러 가지 형태로 다양한 학문적 연구가 진행되고 있어 미래의 무용학 연구는 무용이 다방면에서 어떻게 활용될 수 있는가 하는 기틀을 마련하는 좋은 밑거름이 될 것이다. 이러한 측면에서 볼 때 무용과 음악과의 불가분한 상호보완적 관계는 매우 중요한 문제임에 틀림이 없다. 특히, 발레분야에서 과거 우수한 기량에도 불구하고 국제 콩쿨에서 음악적 문제로 좌절한 경험이 허다하였으나 현재는 발레 반주자의 발레반주에 맞추어 발레 클래스를 행함으로서 의식적이든 무의식적이든 음악에 관한 이해성을 높임으로서 발레 반주의 역할이 매우 중요함을 여러 가지 발레계의 발전현상에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 발레에 있어서 음악의 역할, 상관관계 내지는 상호작용을 통한 음악적 이해의 상승효과 및 발레의 미적 동작을 원활하게 하기 위한 음악 특히 발레 반주의 역할에 대하여 가장 성격적 음악이 잘 나타나있는 ‘돈키호테’를 통해 발레클래스 반주음악에 대한 연구를 하였다. 특히, 발레 반주에 있어서 발레의 특성을 고려한 반주가 어떻게 발레 무용수들에게 도움을 주고 동작을 효과적으로 실시할 수 있는지에 관한 음악적 역할과 그 동작에 맞는 멜로디 연구에 이 논문의 목적이 있다.|The study of dance is comparatively lower than others, as a point of the dance is an actual performance art. Also, the study of dance is comparatively lower than other art fields. Because, in a school education dance was treated as a extremely small part of physical education. But, recently the study of dance progress quite actively and almost 20 unit of college and graduate school are studying dance in academic degree course. So as an aspect of quantity the study of dance have a bright prospect. And, contrary to this low quantity of study and bright prospect of dance, dance music considered as a very important thing to the dancer. In a dance performance, the dance always cooperated with music and a famous dance work always cooperated with famous music. But, a guide for the researching, teaching and studying of dance music is too insufficient. Until just a few years ago, middle & high schools, dance institutes and colleges are doing their dance class without dance music accompanist, except for a minimum number of dance college. And they also neglect the study of dance music. Recently, by the rising of interest in dance music, using a dance music accompanist in a dance class of art middle & high school and college are generalized. This treatise understands the theoretical background of dance music, interrelation between dance and music, and the role and concept of accompaniment in ballet class to know dance music and ballet accompaniment. Specially, analyze the 'Don-Quixote', which is a work of L.Minkus, and study the interrelation between ballet movement and music in Don-Quixote. The conclusion as like below. First, to recreate the accompaniment as a synthetic art, we have to synchronize the music with ballet by understand the historical background of ballet music and systematize the theory. Second, in the interrelation between ballet and music, ballet movement and music have to be in equal position not in subordinate position. And I could know that the music shown by the dancer's movement, unlike a simple CD music. Third, I could know that the basic movement and step of ballet are in intimate relation with the basic principal of music. Fourth, I could know that by inspect the accompaniment, which adapt ballet work, closely we can know about the work profoundly and more smooth class could be progressed by adapting familiar music to class accompaniment.
