K-Pop 아이돌 패션에 나타난 팝아트의 조형적 특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

21세기 사회는 매스 커뮤니케이션의 시대라 불릴 만큼 대중문화가 사회를 지배하고 있다. 현재 세계의 대중문화로 발전하고 있는 한류와, 한류의 범주에 속해있는 K-Pop은 활동 범위를 전 세계로 넓히고 있다. K-Pop 아이돌의 공연 의상은 청각적인 매체인 음악을 시각적으로 표현하는 중요한 기능을 하며, K-Pop 아이돌은 대중들에게 패션을 소개하고 유행을 선도하는 대중문화의 코드로 상징되기도 한다. 우리가 현재 착용하고 있는 현대패션은 문화, 예술 및 사회전반에 영향을 받아 다양한 형태로 나타나는데, 특히 미술양식에서 가장 큰 영향을 받았다고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미술 사조인 팝 아트의 예술 양식에 내재된 대중 문화적 특성이 K-Pop 아이돌의 패션에 어떠한 조형성으로 내포되어 있는지 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 팝아트와 패션의 콜라보레이션에서의 디자인 발상을 위한 영감의 원천이 되어 현대 패션 연구에 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다.|Throughout the 21st century, popular culture has had so much influence on the society that it could be called the era of mass communication. Hanryu, which now reaches to the level of world popular culture, and K-Pop which falls in the category of Hanryu, have been spread out to the entire world. K-Pop’s stage costume is essential medium to express audial music by visualizing them. Therefore, pop singers who are exposed to the public are iconized in popular culture as the symbol of representing the mass media; who enjoy the unique style of fashion, introduce fashion to the public, and lead trends. Modern fashion is expressed in many ways, especially in the artistic style, with an influence of the cultural, artistic, and social elements. The purpose of this study is to analyze how features of the thought of pop art's art form are reflected in the modern costume and the formative characteristics and also to study the formative characteristics of pop art in K-pop idol singers' costumes, which is the trend of popular culture in Republic of Korea, to expect what kind of element of design will develop in the fashion market in future.
