Freudenthal의 이론을 적용한 학습자료 개발 : 중학교 대수영역 중 '문자와 식'을 중심으로

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 Freudenthal의 이론을 적용해서 중학교 대수영역 중 '문자와 식'의 학습자료를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 통해 현행 문자지도의 문제점을 수정·보완하고 선생님들에게는 좀 더 바람직한 방향으로의 교수 방법을 구현하여 수학 수업에 도움을 주고자 한다. 개발한 학습자료에서는 학습자가 실생활의 여러 활동을 경험하고 풍부한 맥락 문제를 통해 문자에 대한 심상을 갖게 된 후 문자를 도입한다. 이런 과정은 학습자에게 갑작스러운 문자의 도입으로 인한 인지적 혼란을 해소할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 본질과 현상의 교대작용을 통한 점진적인 형식화로 대수적 사고력을 길러 줄 것이다. 네덜란드의 현실적 수학교육(RME)에서 Freudenthal의 수학화 이론의 적용 가능성을 입증할 수 있었다. 그리고 Gravemeijer의 연구에서도 현실적인 교과서의 접근이 학습자에게 수학의 기본 개념을 이해시키고 응용 능력을 길러 주는데 상당히 효과적이라는 결과가 이를 뒷받침해 준다[11]. 본 연구에서는 Freudenthal의 수학화 이론과 RME이론을 근거로 학습 자료를 개발하였다. 그리고 제 7차 교육과정을 분석하여 문자지도의 방향과 목적을 설정하였다. 또한 개발한 학습 자료에 대한 교사와 예비교사의 호응도를 분석하여 학습 자료를 수정·보완하였다.|The purpose for this study is to develop learning materials for "the letter and formula" among the category of Algebra based on the Freudental theory. This research also aims at revising the residual problems and improving them, so teachers would achieve more proper method. These learning materials introduce the letter through the experience of real life, activities and rich bare context questions after achieving mental object of the letter. This procedure is expected by the students to remove the cognitive confusion caused by unexpected introduction of the letter. In addition, algebraic consideration should be improved by moderate formalization through the alternation working of the substance and phenomenon. RME(Realistic Mathematics Education) in the Netherlands approved that it is possibility to apply Freudenthal theory. According to Gravemeijer, the approach toward the realistic textbook is very useful to develop the ability to understand the mathematical basic concept[11]. In this research, learning materials has based on Freudental theory and RME. Furthermore ,the courses and the aim for the letter teaching have been established by the analysing about the 7th education process. According to the teachers and preliminary teachers-oriented survey, learning materials has been regulated and improved.
