e-Learning 환경에서의 단계별 학습지원 시스템 설계 및 구현

Abstract

인터넷의 대중화 이후, 교육시스템의 웹을 기반으로 한 수업의 확대 실시로 인해 다양한 형태의 강의를 저작하고 재생하는 원격강의 도구들이 개발되고 있다. 그러나 전통적인 교실수업과 같은 학습효과를 기대하기는 어려운게 사실이다. 이는 현 e-Learning이 단순한 학습정보 제공 수준의 콘텐츠만을 제공한다하는데 기인한다고 볼 수 있다. e-Learning의 궁극적인 목적은 교실수업과 마찬가지로 학습자가 학습기간 동안 교수자가 제시한 학습목표에 도달하였는지의 확인이 가능하여야 하고, 현재의 학습상태를 파악하여 학습이 진행되는 동안 학습자의 자율적인 스스로 학습이 이루어 질 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 e-Learning의 궁극적 목적 실현을 위해 단계별 학습지원 시스템의 구현을 바탕으로 강의 수강방식의 개선을 제안하며 학습자의 수업참여 의지와 학습효과를 높이고자 한다. 강의 수강방식의 개선을 위해 학습을 단계별로 구분하고 통제하여 학습자가 제대로 학습효과를 성취 할 수 있도록 하였고 특히 과목의 소단원 마다 학습단계를 두어 피드백을 통한 다음 단계로의 진행여부 판단 및 부진영역의 방향성 설정에 주안점을 두었다. 또한 과목의 소단원별 학습평가 후 다음 강의 수강 일자가 지정된 학습지속 유예기간을 벗어나는 경우 교수평가의 대상이 되도록 하여 학습자의 학습상태를 지속적으로 자극하도록 관리하였다. 이로 인해 교수자는 수강자의 평가정보와 학습상태 확인이 용이하고 학습자의 개별학습 지도가 가능하다. 또한 학습자는 평가 응시 후 평가정보와 교수자의 도움 자료를 활용하여 스스로 취약한 부분의 학습이 무엇인지 판단하고 자기주도적 학습이 가능하다. 본 논문에서 제안한 단계별 학습지원 시스템의 학습관리 및 학습자 통제를 통해 단원의 연계성이 높은 과목의 효과적인 학습능력의 향상 및 학습목표의 도달을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.| Due to the popularization of Internet, the courses based on web-based courses have extended to the education system, and it has brought about the diversity of e-Learning Lectures and operating tools. However, it is unlikely to expect the fact that e-Learning courses would have the same effect with the conventional courses held in a classroom even though current e-Learning courses also offer their students the same material with the textbook. The ultimate purposes of e-Learning are as follows. First it needs to see if a learner has achieved the object of study the instructor has suggested during the learning period. Second it also is possible for a learner to study spontaneously during the term of e-Learning. This study suggests an improvement of ways in taking the courses in order to achieve the ultimate goals of e-Learning, which is based on implementation of step-by-step education system and play an important role to raise the volition and effect to study. That is, divide and control learning according to level in order for a learner to achieve the learning effect at best. Especially, it has focused on differentiating levels of each units and through feedback, decide to go on to the next level or review the task. Additionally, after learning evaluation of each unit, when the learners' continuous learning period ends before taking the next course, the learner needs to be reevaluated in order to stimulate the learners' continuous state of study. This will enable the lecturer to check the participants’ evaluation data and status of learning more readily and to tutor each of them. In addition, after the evaluation, with the help of the reference materials given by the lecturer, the participants figure out their weak points in study so that they will be able to study on their own initiative. Through what has suggested in this study, learning management and control of the system which supports learning according to level, it is expected to enhance effective learning ability and the objective of study through high interconnections of units for each subject.
