Bridge를 형상화한 陶磁造形 硏究

Abstract

자연은 역사와 더불어 예술표현에서 가장 중요한 영감의 원천이 되어왔다. 자연과 함께한 다리는 수천 년의 역사를 넘어 사람들과 함께하였으며, 다양한 이야기로 전해져 오는 것을 알 수 있다. 건너다니는 그 이상의 의미를 지닌 다리는 시간적으로는 과거와 미래를 연결하는 것이기도 하고, 공간적으로는 마음과 마음을 연결하지만 종교에서는 세속과 영원한 세상을 연결하는 의미이기도 하다. 본 연구에서는 고금(古今)을 통해 나타난 다리의 사유를 현대적 시각으로 재해석하고 조형화 시키고자 한다. 따라서, 다리의 서정적인 풍광은 많이 훼손되었지만 전설과 설화 등, 그 이념의 관점에서 주목해보며 ‘옛’과 ‘오늘’의 시각차를 나름대로의 조형의지로 제공하고자 하였다. 제작방법은 다리가 갖는 외관의 형상을 그대로 나타내기 보다는 점토의 질감을 자연스럽게 살린 덩어리들을 조적법으로 쌓아 올라가며 시각적 선택과 상상을 작업에 나타내고자 하였으며, 특정부분의 절제되고 단순화된 형상과 함께 속파기와 물레 등 자유로운 변형 작업과 즉흥적인 발상에서 오는 우연성에 의미를 두었다. 유약은 가벼워 보일 수 있는 조적된 조형의 형태에 흑유와 골드망간유를 중심으로 강한 발색의 유약을 사용하여 형상의 무게감을 유도하였다. 다리가 가진 소박한 정취는 발달된 현대 문화를 통해 육중한 다리로 만들어지고 있으며, 과거를 포함하고 있는 현재와 미래지향적인 오늘날 인간의 모습에 드러나지 않은 심층적 심리를 예술로써 표현할 수 있는 것에 중점을 두고 다리의 의미를 되새겨 보고자 하였다.|Nature has been the most important origin for inspiration in artistic expression along with history. We see bridges that have been with nature also have been with people for thousands years, and various stories about the bridges have been transmitted. Bridge with a meaning of more than just crossing not only connects the past and the future in terms of time, but also connects mind and mind in terms of space and connects the secular world and the eternal world in the religious viewpoint. The current study aims to reinterpret the meaning of bridge in ancient and modern times with modern viewpoint, Accordingly, it intended to suggest the difference between 'the past' and 'the present' in terms of legend, tale and ideology although lyrical scenery of bridge was damaged a lot. The production method was to piling up lumps with natural clay texture and express visual choice and imagination on the work rather than expressing the exterior of bridge as it is. Along with restrained and simplified shape in a certain part, liberal transformations including digging inside and a spinning wheel, and accident from improvised conception were emphasized. Strong glazes such as black oil and gold manganic oil were used for the piled shape that can look light in order to give a sense of weight to the shape. Simple atmosphere of bridge was transformed into heavy bridge through developed modern culture. The meaning of bridge was thought again focusing on expressing deep psychology that is not seen in the present containing the past and future-oriented present human image with art.
