Body painting의 교육적 가치에 관한 연구

Abstract

영문초록: p. 60-61|본 논문은 body painting의 예술적, 정서적 교육적 가치에 대해 연구하여 이미 기존의 교육으로는 흥미를 찾지 못하는 피 ?냅걋? 들로 하여금 흥미롭게 참여할 수 있는 새로운 교육과정의 제시를 위한 기초 자료로 의미를 목적으로 한다. body painting은 시각적인 표현을 통하여 자신의 생각이나 감정을 조형적으로 창조 발전시키는 예술의 한 과정으로 그 예술적 가치를 가지고 있다. 예술은 그 시대의 정신적 형태와 시대적 상황을 어느 정도 반영한다는 의미에서 예술적 의미가 있다. 그러나 이는 body art보다는 좁은 의미로 그 신체적 예술성만으로는 아직까지 인정받지 못하고 있는 실정이다. body art는 서양 미술사 전체가 신체에서부터 비롯되었다고 볼 때 그 역사 또한 가치를 지닌다. body art의 역사가 미술적으로 접근되든, 신체장식이라는 본능으로 접근 되든 이는 돌아서 결국 하나의 예술적 표현 방식으로 전환되어지고 있고 이미 'performance' 라는 예술의 한 분야는 어색하지 않게 미술의 한 장르로 인정받고 있다. 20세기 초반에 다다이즘과 개념미술에 의해 body art가 대두되고 20세기 후반 포스트모더니즘의 영향으로 문화적 다원주의·절충주의·불확정성등 가치변화는 예술 전반에서 표현의 무제한성으로 나타나고 있고, 일부 현대 예술가들은 '원시로의 회귀'를 통해 그 속에 감추어져 있는 원?各? 생명력을 찾고자 하였으며 그것으로부터 창조적인 영감과 모티브를 얻어 탈 형색의 무의식적인 원시에 대한 향수와 인간 본성이 지닌 필연적인 요소를 끊임없이 추구하면서 생명력 있는 예술을 창조하고 있다. 이에 원시미술에서 찾아 볼 수 있는 body art에 대해 고찰해 보고 body art의 표현양식 중 하나인 body painting의 동기를 몇 가지 설에 의해 구분하고 분석함으로써 이 행위의 목적을 체계화 하고 인류의 문화를 신체예술 측면에서 이해하고 body painting의 기원과 유래를 알아 봄 으로써 오랜 역사를 가진 문화적 유산을 이해하려 하였으며 현대사회에서 행해지는 body painting의 예술적 가치와 정서적 가치를 미술사의 몇 가지 유파와 청소년 정서를 바탕으로 대해 정리해 보았다. body painting은 종이나 캔버스가 아닌 인체를 표현장소로 함으로 좀더 흥미를 이끌 수 있으며 기존의 전통적 방식이 아니어서 스스로 표현에 자신감을 갖지 못하는 이들까지도 놀이와 같은 느낌으로 적극적으로 가담할 수 있지 않을지 생각해 본다. 또한 핵가족화로 개인적 성향을 많이 가지고 있는 청소년들에게 다른 사람과 더불어 작업을 하는 가운데 사회성에도 긍정적 변화를 줄 것으로 기대해 본다. 시청각적인 요즘의 청소년들에게 좀 더 흥미를 갖게 이끌어 창의적인 사고를 개발하고 수업에 참여하며 정서적 변화까지 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대해 본다. 이처럼 건전한 인성과 창의성을 함양하는데 효과적인 기능을 할 수 있는지 정서적 가치를 점검하고 연구 분석하고자 한다. body painting은 인간의 성장발달 단계에서 창의적 행동에 기초가 되며, 예술 교육을 통한 정서 교육은 잠재력에 무한한 발달가능성과 가치를 갖게 된다. 이러한 교육적 바탕이 되기 위하여 본 논문에서는 body painting이라는 주제를 가지고 교육적 가치를 예술적 면모와 정서적 면모로 분리하여 연구해 보려한다.|The purpose of this study is about value of emotion and artistic value in body painting. Existing Fine Art education is generally not interesting to leaners. Aiming at improving the quality of our life and pursuing harmony, a Fine Art curriculum is the one form of the arts which helps to develop our thoughts and emotions through visual expressions. However, Fine Art in reality has been more focused on knowledge-based learning and appreciation according to contemporary curriculums. Fine Art can be based on the development of creative behavior in human beings, and emotional education from Fine Art has great promise in the development of potential energy. Therefore, I want to study how 'body painting' affects young people' emotional changes and art instinct sensibility. "Body painting' is the one kind of 'body art', which has been originated from Dadaism and Concept-art in the early 20th century. By the end of the 20th century, the changes in values duo to postmodernism - cultural pluralism, compromise, the uncertainty- an unlimited influence on expression in art. Moreover, some contemporary artists tried to learn about vital energy through 'back-to-the origin', which gave rise to creative inspiration and motivation to them. Now, they are continuously creating Fine Art with attachments about formless, colorless origins and human nature. Therefore in this study, I considered 'body art' first, analyzed the motive of 'body painting' according to diverse opinions, and systemized its purpose. Besides, through the consideration of its origin, I tried to understand it's cultural heritance and to learn more about its and aesthetic. educational value in modern society. Because "body painting", a special way of Art Education, is done on the human body, and not on canvas or paper, I think it can attract students, even those who aren't confident about art. Moreover, from "body painting" education, students are expected to be change from individual to social one. Especially for the visual-liking leaners, Art Education can have a positive influence on emotional development and human nature.
