Antonin Dvorˇa´k의 Zigeunerlieder op.55 분석 연구 : 반주부를 중심으로

Abstract

19세기 말 보헤미아의 작곡가인 안토닌 드보르작(Antonin Dvorˇa´k; 1841-1904)은 독일 낭만파 Lied에 심취하여 후기 낭만주의 음악에 민족주의적인 색채를 접목한 독창적인 음악가였다. 또한 자기 민족에 대한 애정과 정열을 음악 속에서 표현하고자한 민족주의 악파의 한 사람으로 보헤미아의 민속음악을 세계적 무대로 올려놓았다. 본 논문은 드보르작의 연가곡 “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”에 관한 연구로 이 곡은 그가 가곡창작의 절정을 이루었던 때인 1880년에 집시의 자유롭고 정열적인 생활을 내용으로 하는 아돌프 헤이둑(Adolf Heyduk; 1835-1920)의 시를 가사로 하여 쓴 것이다. 서론에서는 본 논문의 연구 방법과 범위를 제시하였고 본론은 크게 세 부분으로 나누어 연구하였다. 첫 번째 부분에서는 여러 가지 문헌을 토대로 드보르작의 생애를 간략히 소개하고 “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”가 그의 음악적 절정 때 쓰여졌기 때문에 그 작곡 스타일을 좀더 알고자 작품세계를 소개하되 드보르작의 음악에 영향을 미친 동시대의 작곡가들과 음악적 특징, 그리고 대표적인 가곡들과 특징을 알아보았다. 두 번째 부분에서는 19세기 중엽 두드러지게 나타난 체코의 민속음악의 탄생 배경을 중심으로 시대적인 상황과 민속음악 중 민요의 특징들을 알아보았다. 집시음악에서는 그들만의 공통적으로 나타나는 독특한 특징을 선율과 리듬, 가사, 사용한 악기의 종류 등을 세부적으로 조사하여 “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”를 연구하는데 있어 실제적인 도움이 되고자 하였다. 세 번째 부분에서는 “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”의 작곡된 역사적 배경을 알아보고 가사번역, 형식, 선율, 리듬을 알아보되 가장 중점적으로는 시와 결합된 성악부와 반주부의 관계를 알아봄으로 집시음악에서 반주부의 역할과 연주시 중점을 두어야 할 부분에 대하여 알아보았다. 그리고 결론에서는 각 부분들의 결과를 요약함으로 드보르작의 “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”를 보다 폭 넓게 이해하고 그의 의도를 바르게 파악함으로 연주에 있어 도움을 얻고자 한다.|Antonin Dvořák(1841-1904), a Bohemian composer of the late 19th century, was a creative musician who was fascinated German romantic Lied and linked his nationalist music to post-romantism music. He also was one of nationalist musicians who wanted to express their passion and affection toward their people and as a result, he placed a Bohemian folk music at the world stage. This study is on Dvorˇa´k's song cycle, “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”, which sang Gypsy's liberal and passionate lives in 1880, when was a peak time of his composition, and adopted a poem of Adolf Heyduk(1835-1920) as the song's words. In introduction, I suggested the study method and scope and in the main body, I explored this study by segmenting three sections. The first section, I briefly presented his life based on various references and presented his work, “Zigeunerlieder op. 55” which was made in his peak time in order to find out his composing style, and found out comtemporary composers who had influence on Dvorˇa´k' and examined their attributes of their music and representative songs. In second section, I examined circumstances in those days and attributes of folk songs centering on the background of Czech folk music's birth. In the gypsy's music, I surveyed the special common attributes on its own in melody, rhythm, words, a type of musical instrument, etc in detail and intended to provide practical help in studying “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”. In third section, I examined the historical background of “Zigeunerlieder op. 55”, and translation of words, format, melody, and rhythm, but particularly focusing on the relationship between song part and accompaniment part and as a result, I examined a role of the accompaniment and where we should pay attention in playing an accompaniment to the gypsy music. In conclusion, I summarized each section's result and would like to provide to help in broader understanding of Dvorˇa´k's “Zigeunerlieder op. 55” and finding out his intention on it.
